This is a small spot right on Boston Neck Rd in Bonnet Shores, RI. Food is simple, cheap, and is made very quickly. The Pulled Pork Burrito came out to just over $9 with tax. It was loaded and came with fries for free. The takeout felt so heavy that I had to weigh it to prove how good of a deal I got. This place gives you a fair shake for your cash. Highly recommended for a quick stop.

My girlfriend and I stopped by while visiting local BBQ places in search of some good food to serve at our wedding. Eddie’s quickly became our top choice. The food was delicious, the portions were large, the young man behind the counter was great, and the prices were reasonable. My only regret was not trying some of their specialty sauces on our meats. I highly recommend it.

Great little BBQ joint. The pulled pork is very moist, but not over sauced. The cornbread is killer. Their ribs are fantastic and have a really great dry rub that’s not like anything I’ve ever had, a little bit of allspice or something going on there. And last, but not least, is their butternut squash hash with dried cranberries in it. This side is AMAZING, I ate a pound of it the first time I tried it. They lean a little towards the sweet side on their recipes and I’m a mustard/vinegar bbq guy but I actually think more people will like their style of cooking. My kids definitely did.

I highly recommend the Dinner for 4 option. It’s dinner for 4 and also a big lunch the next day, or dinner for 4 REALLY heavy duty eaters. The price is very reasonable for the amount, and quality of the food. We just had it again and I’m looking forward to lunch tomorrow.

It’s a small building and I happened to be driving to meet up a Sunday club bike ride down the road and I told myself, that looks like an interesting joint. So I pull in after the ride, and ordered a half rack and six chicken wings with corn bread and coleslaw to go, based on the cashiers recommendations. It was a tough drive home, the aroma almost made me to stop to sample the ribs. Once I got home, I was so delighted, the rib came right off the bone, a lot of flavor and the sauce was tangy, jus tight. Coleslaw infused with pineapple gave just the right amount of sweetness. Corn bread was moist and held together, the best. I am glad I made the turn and wish I can go back soon

The young gentleman with pink hair tips gave my mom and I some truly atrocious service. Not only did he take about 5 minutes to acknowledge our existence (and then reluctantly), but then he acted as if taking our order was literally the last thing he wanted to do in his life. We had to ask twice for the nasty table to be wiped off. We ordered brisket, but they were out. Flies buzzed around our heads the whole time we were eating.

Good food though. Shame about everything else. Probably will not be coming back.

This is not BBQ .. in fact they shouldn’t have “BBQ” in their name.

Before ordering we drove around the building to look for a wood pile (a good sign of a real BBQ place), and instead found a very large empty can of Bush’s baked beans near the rear door .. that was probably being used as a butt can. Sigh.

I was curious about their process, so I asked what wood they used to smoke their meat, what temperature, and a thousand other questions. They were all answered when the kid behind the counter said “we don’t have a smoker .. we don’t smoke any meat, but I promise you it’s good.” Well .. he was wrong.

The ribs are given a dry rub and baked. While the meat was tender enough, the rub was way, way too heavy on brown sugar and it tasted mildly burned.

The pulled pork, of which a quart was included in the meal, was braised and finished on the flat top. It was completely dependent on the sauce for any flavor .. but was tender .. and actually was the least objectionable part of the meal.

Their brisket is also prepared in the oven. Ugh. See why this isn’t BBQ ?

Food was ok. I got the Brisket it was warm and didn’t taste right. The mac and cheese came out cold. The corn bread was not good at all. The atmosphere was great. Just not fan of there food anymore. This was the 4th time I have been there. I will not be going back.

If I could rate lower I would! Absolutely agree with the other reviews, this is in no shape or fashion BBQ. It is baked meat with chemical smoke and too much of that. You can get better pork at Walmart, Bob Evans brand. Out of several meats so our choices were limited. Same thing with sides. Our french fries weren’t even cooked done, raw in the middle!
Yuck!

The mac cheese pulled pork sandwich is money. They could use a little better AC inside but the food was good. Pop in a check it out. People were friendly. Fast service.

My husband and I LOVE this place. Packs a lot of awesome in a small place. Great food, great service. Local gem worth supporting. If they’re out of a menu item it’s because it’s friggin awesome and they go through it fast so don’t give up! Keep trying! It’s sooo worth it. ♡
