The best ribs we have ever had! Absolutely delicious from the first bite to the last. You can truly taste the quality and the time they put into preparing everything.
We also loved their ordering system — it was quick, smooth, and super efficient. Our food came out almost as soon as we sat down, which was impressive!
We’re visiting from out of town and were highly recommended to try this place — and it did NOT disappoint. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in town. Highly recommend!

This was our first choice place to eat when visiting St. Louis because of its fame and amazing reviews. Pappy’s Smokehouse did not disappoint! There were 4 people in our party on a Sunday morning just after opening. We waited just briefly in a queue (just long enough to pick out what we wanted and get hungry smelling the smokers). We all tried different things. I found myself wishing I could try all the sides! The pork BBQ was delicious! The ribs are a must! The sweet potato fries were the best I’ve had. The variety of sauces were fun to try (the original and Carolina are the best). The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere perfect. Go!

The place is cozy and has a cool atmosphere. The smokers and the piles of wood outside give a great feel to the place. The food arrived quick and was so tender and flavorfull. The turkey and brisket were good but the ribs are certainly a stand-out.
The vinegar slaw and pickles complemented the meats nicely!

Good BBQ. I am happy we chose to go, we were impressed. We had ribs, fried corn and fire and ice pickles. The ribs were great. Cooked well, good ring and they tasted good. The corn was ok, they have other sides to pick. but my favorite thing we ate were ther fire and ice pickles!!Addicting!!!

I bought a half rib last week & it was so good plain that I had to come back today on my lunch break. I was going to order online but it said the ribs were out of stock (probably due to snow storm), I had to call because I was craving them lol. Lucky enough I got one. This time I ordered a whole slab (saved some for later) It was just as good as before. Their baked beans are also really good. When I was pregnant I ordered a pint of baked beans before lol. Also the fire & ice pickles are good as well.

You know you’re in luck when you walk in and they’re carting a huge stack of ribs in from the smoker.
I love BBQ, but I rarely order ribs because they never blow me away. But after taking a recommendation from a local who was waiting ahead of us, I ordered the half-rack with baked beans and the fried corn on the cob. We also got the mouth-watering brisket. UNBELIEVABLE!
The meat is so tender, but stays on the bone until you want it to fall off. The flavor packs a punch, so much so, I didn’t need any sauce—though I tried a couple flavors.
I’m so glad I tried the fried corn on the cob, because it was a good compliment to the richness of the ribs.
Service was organized and FAST! I cannot recommend this place enough!

I ordered a half rack of the ribs and a small order of burnt ends. Incredible BBQ with perfect smoke and caramelization. I didn’t try any sides because I knew I’d have no room left in my stomach after this but next time. I will! The staff was very attentive and someone even came and asked to take my empty plate before I even thought about getting up.

Pappy’s for the first time and was not disappointed in the ribs actually they were phenomenal. They use fruit wood like apple or cherry to smoke so the smoke flavor is not overwhelming like some places that use hickory or mesquite. A half rack is 6 ribs, which had a LOT of meat on them. These are pork back ribs. The meat was tender amazing! you have 4 sauces to chose from,but I only tried the sweet, which was excellent. Not too sweet, good flavor with the ribs. The burnt ends so freaking tender mouth watering! The baked beans were good but the fried corn is must get! Service was great and pricing was super awesome! 100% recommend!

Stopped in while visiting the Arch this weekend and the ribs did not dissappoint! First thing I noticed was all the cars which was a good sign. I was able to find parking in the back lot which was nice. We waited in line for about 30 mins but it was worth it. My sister had the burnt end sandwich which was good while I had the ribs which were amazing! They were so juicy and came off the bone nicely. Ribs were the best I’ve ever had next to my son’s smoked ribs. I was wondering how they keep up with the demand for food considering all the people coming in and noticed 5 giant smokers which take care of business. Very cool to see! Also of note the ordering and delivery of you order is very organized. Great food and service!

We asked the locals, and they were spot on! This is the best BBQ I’ve had so far—definitely a shining 5-star experience. It was so delicious that I forgot to take any pictures and just devoured my entire order!
