We came here for the first time and the last time. The waitress was nice and attentive, but the food was DISGUISING. The meat was VERY undercooked, and the guacamole was horrible. The rice was no good either. The pupusas were very bad and definitely not Salvadoran. Everything was overpriced and the total bill was outrageous and we paid way too much for bad food. I don’t recommend coming here unless you want to get scammed.

Delicious Lomo. However. It doesn’t come with any side sauce, arguably the best part of lomo.
Otherwise would’ve been 5 stars

I ordered the shrimp sopas, and it’s downright delicious. They are very generous with the portions. The staff was helpful and courteous.

Easily one of the best Mexican spots in Westchester. We brought the kids and they couldn’t get enough of the tacos, pupusas, and tamales. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The food is super flavorful and authentic, and the whole place has a friendly, laid-back vibe. Great for families or anyone looking for a solid Mexican spot. We’ll definitely be back.

Stopped in here for the first time the other day, just looking for some basic Mexican fare – I ordered some chicken tacos, rice and beans, and a beer. The hostess who took my order was lovely and charming. The TV behind the counter was so large and high res that I marveled at it for a moment.
The food and prices, however, soon spoiled the charm. The rice and beans were both mediocre, and very small portions, and cost $4 each. The tacos were okay, but not as good as any of the other local Mexican places I’ve been to. But what really floored me was the check – it was almost $40 (the beer was $6). This place is no palace – but the pricing certainly is palatial!

$2 Taco Tuesday? In this economy?! You’d better believe it! Better yet, those two buck tacos even come with a side of grilled peppers, onions, AND complimentary chips and salsa! An inexplicably inflation-proof deal so sweet you KNOW I had to tack on a few pupusas as well. (Oh, and get this: Wednesday is $2 Pupusa Miercoles!)
Surely grub this affordable can’t be good, right? Incorrect! The carnitas tacos were perfect, the frijol y queso pupusas were hot and, if you’ll pardon my French, ooey AND gooey. They were paired with a tangy vinegar-based slaw that was just beautiful.
My bill came out to a mere $ 12 and I ate like a (soon-to-be-happily-gout-riddled) king. The staff were all absolutely lovely, too. One even offered to hold my infant daughter who started to fuss midway through my second pupusa so I could finish eating. I was so touched by that!
My only regret is not stopping by earlier and not taking photos for this review. Trust me: my meal was gorgeous!

Mamaroneck has plenty of good taco choices, but this may be the best. The onions and peppers on the side were the perfect addition to the juicy shrimp and chicken tacos. The kids had quesadillas which were bang on. They came with guac, sour cream, and salad without having to request extra sides. Finally, the ceviche mixto was as good as it gets.
This place shows pride of ownership in both how well the place looks and is kept as well as how perfectly the food is prepared and presented.
6 stars all the way
