Ordered takeout for a work luncheon. Two 20″ pizzas, one Caesar wrap, one Calzone w/ ham, mozzarella and Ricotta and one Greek salad with chicken.
The pizza and the wrap were cooked and presented well.
Unfortunately the calzone was missing the ricotta and they gave us a chicken Caesar salad instead of the Greek salad. My colleague would have eaten the Ceasr salad but unfortunately my colleague noticed the chicken was raw in the middle. We called to have replacements for the salad and the calzone which was not met either an apology or taken aback regarding under cooked chicken.
That was a red flag.

The chicken fingers were small like nuggets. The pastrami sandwich was burnt and untasteful. I spent almost 200 dollars on food and it was not worth it. Food last year was a lot better.

Pizza is good. Very close to NJ pizza. But tiny pepperoni and slices of cheese instead of shredded is weird, but maybe its a good thing. Still pizza is very good. Inside feels like 2002. Cant find them in 2025.

Recently tried Profenns’s and was very happy with their pizza, we had 3 large pies, cheese, pepperoni and ham and all were very good. Crust was well cooked and not oily, the toppings were quality and the cheese plentiful. They put a bit of oregano on them all. My view is that Profenno’s is better quailtya and taste than both Westbrook House of Pizza or Angelone’s so we will be making this our top spot in Westbrook. Thank you Profenno’s!

I imagine given the other reviews, that I was a rare case where everything went wrong. The pizza tasted rancid. The crust was overcooked to the point it felt like eating shoe leather. The sauce tasted well past it’s prime. The pepperoni tasted of nothing but Italian seasoning, of which the pizza was drenched in. So potent was the smell, that I actually had to take out my trash and febreeze the room to get rid of it.
It honestly felt like this was an order that never got picked up and then an hour later it got served to me. The staff were not really approachable either. I called in asking for a pepperoni pie and it felt like a hostage negotiation. I get in there and it’s like there was a huge argument before I came in, every service member was staring daggers at one another, they were passive aggressive toward one another, and one person just kept giving me a stink eye the entire time I was there.
You know I heard that this was the best pizza around. And even though it’s a bit pricey I could give it a fair chance. But man this pie wasn’t even worth a dollar. Heck you couldn’t pay me to eat this pizza again. I’m sorry, I’m normally forgiving, but paying $25 for a pizza, you better have a top contender for a pie.

Kim is so lovely and knowledgeable, been a customer for well over 15 years! Great food great drinks! However the brunette bar tender/server has been rude on several visits to myself and the bride. We chalked it up to an off night the first time but after 4 or 5 visits….we avoid her, she is unpleasant,impatient and rude.

I’ve been coming here for over 10 years for the pizza and wings I’m from Pennsylvania so I love a good pizza and I thought this is the best pizza in Maine to last night it was horrible and I swear I think it Shrunk in size also and the wings were 1/2 the size … the pizza was sauce and cheese on a saltine cracker !!! 40 bucks I felt like I was robbed without a gun !!!!
