We recently went for Sinatra Night, very entertaining!
Food was better than we initially expected for a tavern style restaurant. It also had a spacious and welcoming atmosphere.
For the 3 of us we had:
– Seven Layer Nachos 5⭐️
– Baked Maryland Crab Cakes 5⭐️
– BBQ Baby Back Ribs 4⭐️
– Special Menu, Chicken Parm with Pasta 4 ⭐️
– Trio Bar Sampler 5⭐️
It’s definitely an older downingtown crowd, so you’ll enjoy it.

The 7 Tap Tavern is the perfect place to have lunch after a great round of golf. Not only is it fun to be there but the food is delicious. The service though is the best. I have lunch there with Jim on Mondays and Dana is our favorite server. She is very pleasant, always courteous, knowledgeable and quick to get the food to us. We enjoy our time there very much.

We stopped into Seven Tap Tavern at Downingtown Golf & Country Club on a Friday night just for drinks but ended up ordering appetizers—and we’re so glad we did because the food was amazing! It also happened to be open mic night, and the musician was incredible, which made for such a great atmosphere.
The only thing we’d recommend is adding some comfy lounge chairs alongside the dining area for open mic nights to make the experience even better. Other than that, everything was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

We love going to the Seven Tap Tavern in Downingtown the fourth Friday of each month (and fifth if it occurs) to see The Larry Roney Band. The music is wonderful and our waitress Beth is the best! The new food choices are also very much appreciated.

We went here on a Monday night. Besides being one of the other patrons, it was understaffed. Waitress was kind and understanding but was served bubbly Chardonnay, flat soda and food was mediocre at best. My mulligan “french dip” was sliced (and dried out) roast beef dunked in au jus. Pricing was very reasonable, so perhaps i’m being a bit harsh. At least things seemed clean and well maintained. The garden and flowers on the property were gorgeous. There was some political event going on there, which likely hoovered up all the help. Bottom-line, it’s our first and last visit here.

First and foremost, this place is located in a Country Club. Driving into this place had beautiful nature views the entire way down. There’s a golf course located on the premises as well. Be careful driving in, especially if it’s your first time as there are golf carts sharing the road who from my experience, drive as if they own the road and will cut you off and not yield despite you having the right of way. They just go. So drive attentively and no more than 10mph as one can dart out of nowhere. Other than that, this place has phenomenal views and the vibes are good.

Just finished a pulled pork sandwich from Seven Tap and it was ridiculously good. I took it to go and it was still very hot when I started eating it back at my office. Loaded with meat and cheese! Thank you!
