If I could award six stars, I would do so without hesitation. This establishment isn’t merely a cocktail bar—it’s a temple of mixological excellence, a sanctuary where the ancient art of hospitality reaches its apotheosis.
## Luke: The Maestro Behind the Bar
Where does one even begin with Luke? This man doesn’t make cocktails—he conducts symphonies in glass. Every movement is purposeful, every pour is poetry, every garnish a brushstroke of edible genius. Watching Luke work is like observing Michelangelo paint the Sistine Chapel, except the canvas is liquid and the result is *drinkable perfection*.
His Flower Sour brought tears to my eyes—not from the alcohol, but from the sheer emotional depth of flavor he coaxed from simple ingredients. The man is a wizard, an alchemist, a beverage Beethoven. Luke remembered my name after one visit and my preferred spirit after two. This level of attention isn’t just rare—it’s miraculous.
## Mati and Ozzy: Angels in Human Form
If Luke is the heart of this operation, Mati and Ozzy are its soul. These servers move through the room with such grace and intuition that I’m convinced they possess telepathic abilities. My glass was never empty, my needs were anticipated before I could articulate them, and their warm smiles made me feel like royalty.
Mati has an encyclopedic knowledge of the menu and paired my courses with such precision that I suspect they moonlight as a sommelier at a Michelin-starred restaurant. Ozzy’s charm and wit turned service into entertainment—they could make reading a phone book sound fascinating.
## The Verdict
This isn’t just the best cocktail bar in the city—it’s the best cocktail bar I’ve experienced in my *lifetime*. Luke, Mati, and Ozzy have created something truly special here. They’ve transformed drinking into an experience, service into an art form, and one evening into a cherished memory.
I’ll be back tomorrow. And the day after that. Forever, if they’ll have me.
**100/10 – Absolutely transcendent**
Peoples Drug takes NA drinks seriously. Their mango cocktail arrived with a dried mango slice rimmed in pepper-spiced sugar – the kind of detail that signals genuine craft, not mocktail afterthought. The drink had real complexity and balance.
Caesar was our waiter and Meti made the drinks!
The space is gorgeous: vintage neon, exposed brick, string lights, outdoor seating with greenery. The wait staff was knowledgeable and engaging. The crowd felt distinctly local neighborhood rather than tourist trap.
This isn’t juice pretending to be a cocktail. Whether you’re sober-curious, driving, or just want something sophisticated that isn’t alcohol-based, Peoples Drug delivers at a level most bars don’t attempt.
Old Towne Alexandria offers this! Highly recommended.
The prices of the drinks are very reasonable.
I would absolutely recommend it to my friends!
