I’ve been here a couple times since moving here. The staff are friendly and the food us delicious.
The menu is basic burgers and chicken chunks with some salads, kid foods and etc. Nothing too complicated.
So far I’ve had the chicken chunks and the Swiss and mushroom burger. All of which were fantastic. The chicken chunks are my favorite though.
Located near downtown Fostoria the location is quite bigger than it appears from the outside!
There are two separate eating areas. More of a dive in experience and then a little more sophisticated side that is much larger. I chose to sit on the larger side away from the kitchen because I wanted a quiet lunch. It was well after any lunch rush so I figured I’d be safe. Instead at the back of the room there was a guy (maybe the owner?) standing at a storage room throwing pots and pans everywhere looming looking something. This literally went on for 15 mins or so before I decided to go into the other seating area. Even then you could hear the clanging pots and pans coming from the BACK of the store!
Another thing that caught my attention was the floor and windowsills. The floor was dirty littered with napkins and chunks of dried mud. There are three booths in this area with only 1 being semi clean. All four tables were also dirty with good chunks on them. But the thing that got me were the DEAD BUGS on the windowsill!
Keep in mind this was at 2p in the afternoon on a Friday so well after any lunch rush they may have experienced before my visit.
I wasn’t expecting a five star restaurant but I would’ve thought cleanliness and a general courtesy extended to patrons would be a given.

After an afternoon at the rail park, we needed a bite to eat. My son likes Cheeseburgers, so it seemed like an easy choice. It turned out to be an excellent choice. I had a regular (single) and my son had a Flippin (double) Fries were great, nice atmosphere, reasonable price. Only downfall was they have excellent Onion Rings, or at least they must, because they were fresh out. UGH! I guess we will stop by next time to try them out.

A unique restaurant in the heart of Fostoria. The left hand side of the building is a diner atmosphere and the right side area is a spacious room with lots of seating and beautiful hard wood floors. Definitely worth the trip from corporate dining. Daily specials offered.

Stopped in on our way to Columbus and we are so happy we didn’t choose fast food. In the words of my daughter “best burger I’ve ever had”. Service was excellent and so very friendly. We will be back when we are in the area!

First time here and it was delicious! I got the chicken chunx basket tossed in hot sauce and because I dined in, my drink was free! Fries are seasoned well and it was all cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend

Excellent food in an unassuming venue. ( not a lot of options, but they do what they offer well) I had the spicy garlic chunks and my guest had a cheeseburger. After comparing notes, we were both very satisfied. The trunks were large chunks of breaded white meat…Excellent. first time there , and we were a little worried when we walked in. However the staff was friendly, the food was good oh, and the price was fair. When they eventually get a liquor license oh, this will be a happening place because the chunks are great and would go well with a cool beverage.

Ok..i will start with, my grandmother taught me, if you cant say anything nice dont say anything at all..so i had to take a few to post my review in a just manner. Here goes… we are all about mom n pop establishments and was told to try this place. It wasnt end of the day(close but not). Entering this resteraunt it was clean one family in the dinning area. Placed our order for the fish special…bigfoot special…fish sandwich and sweet potato fries…oh & chunks got my fish sandwich which was Cold..No seasoning as well as no taratar sauce…on a bun..sweet potato fries were VERY greasy, as well as burnt…thats 2 strikes for us having a good meal. Bigfoot special was soso..also in purchasing and waiting for our food the young lady approached us and said there was only enough fish for the sandwich we were alright with this as they accommadated my hudband which was nice. The bites ( chicken chunks ) were so so dry and honestly NO TASTE..so I called them..i tell the owner nicely that i payed closed to 8 dollars for a dry (old grease) tasting plain fish sandwich as well as the sweet potato fries issue..it was close to their closing. We are disabled so i suggested the next day exchange the bad food for a FRESH meal..seriously..they was stuck on..not knowing how to handle this. Again I was not rude as i do believe we all have those types of moments. It takes alot for me to lodge a complaint but my husband is recovering from cancer and is very food sensitive. Cutting to the chace…I didnt go back for the exchange and I didnt demand a refund. With that being said, we will Not go back to this place and im sure they are usually good but…the process i went thru to let them no and factor in the lack of care led me to think I should NOT bother. I am older and disabled but raised with respect twords others reguardless. I payed close to 50. for a meal we didnt get to eat…so heres to hoping that others have a better experiance than my and my husbands. Note to self…check my meals before leaving as well as They need to refresh their customer service guidelines that is….unless they jusy dont care.

Took a road trip just to get away on our 10th wedding anniversary. Came across this nice little place to eat. Nice and quiet and very friendly staff. Proportions were huge and food was awesome did not leave hungry. Will definitely be making the trip up here more often to eat. Wish they were closer to me but well worth trip.
