Very good authentic Mexican food. I appreciate that their corn tortilla shells aren’t greasy/dripping oil, but could be a touch thicker so they don’t fall apart when eating the tacos. The steak was excellent with good flavor. Chicken was pulled and not how I prefer it but was good. Would definitely return 🙂

Delicious, authentic food! I want to go back soon so I can try everything on the menu! We had Quesabirria and al pastor. Both were so good! The salsa for the chips was yummy and the sauces for the dishes were top notch. The horchata was really good too.
They have booths and tables for cozy seating. They also do take out.
Will be back again for sure!

La Morenita’s was the perfect Mexican lunch. It was a first of many visits for us. Everything looked so good that we were happy to over order and take leftovers home. I took photos but only after I had a couple bites. I knew this was a meal I wanted to remember. The decorations and music almost made me feel the Mexican sunshine on a gloomy Michigan winter day.

Not going to lie, I wasn’t super hopeful at first. But then someone told me there’s a store in here? Say no more! My wife, mother in law and I then came here shortly after hearing this. Upon entering we were greeted by a colorful, clean interior that wasn’t gimmicky. We started with Horchata, because duh. And it was solid, 8/10! I got the lengua burrito, which I have never had before. It was really good, great flavors, textures, and reasonably portioned. But it had nothing on my wife’s Al Pastor Burrito: WOW! That was some amazing Al Pastor, something I never thought I’d taste in this little town, let alone a beef tongue burrito! After eating we browsed the store, we were impressed not only by their selection of neat items, but also their prices! I might have to start shopping here!
This is undoubtedly the best Mexican food in Three Rivers! Not that that’s a hard title to keep, but anything in this foodie wasteland of a town is appreciated!

Loved this little hole in the wall. Food very authentic, fresh handmade corn tortillas and fresh salsa. We had taco de carnitas(shredded pork), asada(steak), campechanos(steak and chorizo) and tripa(tripe) and a torta de millanessa(Mexican sandwich with breaded beef steak) an absolute perfection. Haventvhas a taco like this since LA Fe closed down in Hartford MI. So happy to see they are stocking a little sectional grocery store. And they have tortillas el milagro which is a huge thing. Can’t wait to see them fully stocked. Can’t wait to come back during the week and try new things.

We stopped for carry out because we love Mexican food- it’s hard to find true authentic. Their’s was on! He had tacos & rice. I had a burrito bowl. All of it was delicious. Our only complaint was we had asked for corn tortillas but received flour instead – he ate anyways and loved it.
Service was fabulous and quick. Waitress cheerful & helpful.
Best take out we have had in awhile!

We’ve ordered takeout from here three times in less than 10 days during a crazy week. 9 tacos, chips, queso and guacamole, with consumé, for less than $60. You can’t get the same quantity of quality tacos and all the extras, for that little almost anywhere. They’re awesome.

Food was incredibly good! Everyone was super friendly. Portion sizes are very good for the price. Everything is seasoned well. The decor is great inside the restaurant but outside could use some work. Parking is also very limited

The food was very average. Had a burrito. It was a little bland. Not a lot of flavor. Also did not get any raise for top of burrito steak and chicken. No guacamole, sour cream or any other sauces to put over the burrito. The salsa was really good as were the tortilla chips. Also food was not very warm, especially in the middle.
