Malvos Chill Spot is the real deal. The food was fresh, flavorful, and made with love — every bite was delicious. The price is right too; I got two 32-oz jerk chicken soups and it was worth every dollar.
What really stood out was the hospitality. My husband caught a cold and the owner was even checking to see if he had any bush tea he could give me for him. He also recommended a homemade ginger drink with pineapple juice… and wow, it was amazing and soothing.
You don’t just get food here, you get care and good vibes. Definitely coming back again. Big respect to our island people — this spot feels like home.

We were first welcomed by the sounds of 90s music as we arrived at the location, setting a nostalgic and vibrant tone. That was quickly followed by a seating area beautifully decorated in Jamaican colors, and a warm, genuine greeting that made us feel right at home.
After placing our order, we passed the short wait by playing a game of Ludo, which added a fun touch to the experience. The food arrived quickly and did not disappoint.
We ordered the jerk chicken and the roast fish. I’m usually not a fan of fish, but this one completely won me over — it was unlike anything I’ve had before, flavorful and absolutely heavenly. The jerk chicken was perfectly seasoned — spicy, juicy, and tender, not dry at all. The fries that came with it were crisp and golden, topped with just the right amount of cheese sauce.
To drink, we had the strawberry and watermelon juices, both of which were refreshing and delicious.
Overall, the food and atmosphere were a solid 10/10. I would absolutely recommend it!

Malvo is a kind hearted person, his food is amazing. The best is have had since I was in montego bay. He is the real deal and his food reflects that he has been cooking quality food his whole life.
My wife and son love his food. Our favorite dishes are the ox tail, and jerk chicken. The curry goat is epic!!! The redhead soup is everything ypu could ever want from a traditional dish.
Always generous portions and barely any left over after dinner time. I highly reccomend his food. The music is always great and malvo’s kindness and good vibes are always consistent. Blessed to live so close to his kitchen.

This is my first time coming here and the food was awesome, and the customer service was top tier. I literally felt like I was in jamaica with the way he set up the area. The food didn’t take long, It was hot and it was so tasteful and delicious. I feel like it’s the best jamaican food in the area that actually tastes authentic and is reasonably priced. Grabbed some jerk chicken. They do have seating to eat but we parked around the corner to eat. He actually smokes the chicken !!! It’s so good we went back immediately after we finished eating to get more smoked jerk chicken! Definitely a hidden gem in Pompano!

Going here for years and years. Amazing food. Malvo is very friendly and energetic. I can say here is the best Jamaican food place in South Florida. Various kinds of menu. Malvo cooks foods with his heart. I recommend Oxtail and Jerk chicken. Highly recommend this place!

I don’t know why Malvo only has 1 review. He puts out some of the best food in South Florida. He smokes his own meat, and preps it all himself. He is also a very friendly and approachable person. If you come across his truck please give him your business, you won’t regret it.
We discovered his truck at a community fair, and had the loaded jerk fries which are INCREDIBLE. Today we visited him at 26 degree brewing in Pompano Beach, I had the ribs and my girlfirned had the jerk chicken, and we shared conch fritters for an appetizer. It’s one of the best meals I’ve had, and she would say the same. Go see Malvo!

Malvo is the best!!! He really cooks with love, it’s amazing. We always get the jerk chicken or curry chicken, super tender, flavorful and great sides to go with it. He always has homemade juices to go with it, would highly recommend!!!!
