Had the Premium Raw Marinated Crab and added Uni/Abalone. It was fantastic. The other times I’ve had Raw Marinated crab, it was okay, but this was exceptional. It was so fresh, so much meat squeezed out of the crab. The uni, crab and shrimp were just as flavorful and good. Took a day trip from Vegas and this was the dinner stop, glad we got to try this place out. As you can see from the line that formed, people know to come here for raw marinated crab.

Must stop by here every time I am in Los Angeles. The best raw marinated crab. They do it all well: raw crab, shrimp, abalone, uni, etc. Their live uni rice bowl comes in the shell, it looks beautiful and tastes even better. The raw crab platter comes with black crabs, a fried soft shell crab and crab meat on the shell to mix with the rice and other accoutrements. Their banchan includes kimchi, radish kimchi, some pieces of marinated crab, and marinated perilla leaves. They also serve rice and crab miso soup and seaweed. This place is raw seafood heaven. Everything is super fresh and doesn’t have that fishy smell at all. The service is always great and the place is always clean. They have a handwashing station if you just need to wash your hands. Their bathroom also comes equipped with mouthwash.

This is the place to get soy marinated raw crab. Hands down. The presentation and taste were excellent. Be prepared to let your wallet loose.
I was here with a large party. They do not take reservations, so they recommended us to arrive early like 5:30 PM to avoid a long wait time. They were right because we got seated right away. By the time we left, there were at least four parties waiting.
They give you an ordering form, so you mark how many and what you want.
For 12 people, we split the following:
1 premium marinated crab $199.99
2 large spicy crab $149.99×2
1 premium live uni $64.99
1 sullungtang $19.99
2 galbi tang $24.99×2
The regular crab was better than the spicy. I wouldn’t get spicy crab next time. The uni was so so good. The soups we got were also really tasty.
Our servers didn’t give us gloves, so we had to ask for them. I feel like they were not showing that Korean respect for elders iykyk. It’s a familiar thing I see in restaurants in ktown.
No WiFi
Two gender-neutral bathrooms in the back of the restaurant
Apple Pay/credit card accepted (pay at the register)

This restaurant strikes the perfect balance — it’s not overly flashy or intimidating, yet the food is truly like a work of art. Every dish is not only incredibly delicious but also beautifully presented. The service is excellent, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. The spicy red crab dishes are amazing, and honestly, every meat bowl I’ve tried has been outstanding. Even the steamed egg is fantastic. On top of that, the staff are unbelievably kind. Honestly, it’s the kind of place I’d love to visit every single day — though I have to admit, the prices are on the higher side.

Update: Best korean seafood hands down. For what you get, I don’t think the prices are too bad. Don’t get me wrong its not cheap but rarely do you find places that offer this much for the prices they charge. A must try!
If you are in the mood for Korean food apart from KBBQ and want a little fusion, this is the place to dine! Traditional mixed with fusion. Great food here. Their spicy crab handroll is most excellent! Must try!

The food was so good, the food was beautiful, the servers were very friendly, the bathroom was clean and the interior was well decorated.
I visited during lunch today. The interior was still very clean. The friendly server was quick to refill the radish kimchi and kimchi I needed. The uni rice bowl was absolutely delicious.

One of the best soy-marinated crabs I’ve had in LA—flavorful without being overly salty, and each bite had a satisfying amount of meat. We shared a few dishes between the three of us: the large soy-marinated crab ($134.99), spicy shrimp ($10.99), uni premium bowl ($74.99), and steamed crab bowl ($44.99). The presentation was elegant, and every dish was thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere was comfortable, and the staff made us feel well taken care of. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Had an amazing dinner at Master Ha with friends tonight!
The absolute standout was their signature marinated crab — we had both the soy and spicy versions, and honestly, both were incredible. The soy crab was clean and delicate, while the spicy one came perfectly prepared so you can mix it like bibimbap… so fun and so good.
You must also try the uni (super fresh and beautifully presented) and the tempura — shrimp, soft shell crab, and onion, all perfectly crispy. We were so focused on eating that we forgot to talk until the very end
Fantastic food, warm and thoughtful service — truly a memorable dinner.
Highly, highly recommend!Had an amazing dinner at Master Ha with friends tonight!

While visiting from Nashville, we wanted to explore foods that we can’t usually experience. This place was one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. The staff were extremely kind and knowledgeable. Work flow was very efficient. Every banchan (반찬) and rice were just perfect. Definitely recommend.
