Went for a late dinner while in the area and the experience was not good to say the least. I got shrimp tacos with a mango margarita and my boyfriend a burrito. Our food was not flavorful; my soggy tacos came with what tasted like thousand island salad dressing. I only took a few sips of my margarita but the taste of artificial flavoring was overwhelming. The worst part was the waiter Rudi giving himself an 18% tip for a party of 2! When addressed he acted like this was default and aside from what the customer tips. We respectfully didn’t agree and he tried to act like he did not understand what we said and stopped looking at us directly. My boyfriend then repeats in Spanish he was going to tip but doesn’t agree with an automatic gratuity and it is not honest. When we asked to speak with the manager, Rudi looks back inside, discreetly crouched down and quietly said it’s ok, and not necessary saying he would remove it! Do NOT eat here!

Fantastic service! Good prices, and serving sizes. Nice dinning area, inside and outside are both available. Location takes you away from all the busy moving on the front street but not out of the way. Located just a bit down 21st street just a hop from Atlantic Ave. If you’re looking for great authentic Mexican food in VB, search no further, it’s Guads on 21st. No wait, great food and service. Can’t beat it!

We stumbled upon this place by chance last year, and now it’s become a must-visit for us every year! The food is absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. The service is always warm and friendly, making you feel right at home. It’s one of those hidden gems you can’t help but tell everyone about. Can’t wait to come back again next year!

The hot dog stand girl was eating one of their fish tacos when my husband questioned her where she got that from! She immediately pointed towards 21rst Str and said by pizzeria. Says alot if you see a local eating it instead of their own food! Needless to say we went and we had the shrimp and fish tacos. Delicious! I also tried the fresh guacamole that arrived in a huge bowl! Delicious. Only thing that needs some work was the Marguerite on the rocks as it tasted sans alcohol but all else was great! Prices are reasonable 3 tacos for $10. That’s enough, you don’t need the rice or beans. Will be back next time I’m in the area.

Super nice people but it unfortunately won’t change the fact that the food is horrible and overpriced. i ordered beef taco salad and the beef was absolutely tasteless and greasy, i was even questioning whether im consuming beef or something else. I ate with my family and none of them were satisfied with their food either. If you’re looking to have a good meal go to the restaurant right next to them.. they have great food.

I’ve been here twice for lunch. Once during the week and once on the weekend. The service is excellent and the food is very very good. All of their food is good. I had Chori Pollo the first time and thought it was cooked perfectly and flavorful.
I had the steak fajitas lunch portion for one today and it was perfect. The flavor is amazing, it comes out hot and is just bursting with flavor. I highly recommend this place to anyone who likes Mexican food.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating as well and bathrooms are clean!
Outdoor seating available and the drinks from the bar looked really good!
