I reached out afterward for clarification and was given vague, unhelpful responses that didn’t address why I was treated with such disrespect. On top of that, I was told completely conflicting information about the rehiring process—one thing over the phone and a totally different explanation later on. It’s clear that communication and professionalism are lacking severely in management.
No customer should be met with hostility for asking a simple question, and no manager should behave this way.
McDonald’s needs to seriously look into the way this location is being run, especially by management. Unprofessional behavior like this drives people away, not just as customers but as potential employees as well.
I tried to get answers afterward, but all I got was confusion, conflicting information, and zero accountability. No one deserves to be talked to like that—customer or not. It says a lot about the atmosphere of a place when the management can’t even show basic respect. Also nothing but horror stories about manager Tricia. That’s why they can’t keep staff. It’s the way they treat people.
Of all the places I travel to and visit in the country, this is BY FAR the absolute WORST McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. I’ve been here three times this week for different members of my crew, and used the drive thru every time, without an issue. But tonight was different. The drive thru attendant left me and several other vehicles waiting in the drive thru. Never once said anything over the intercom. So I pulled up to the window to see if anyone was even working. The lady working told me my vehicle “sits too high” and it didn’t register that I was there. (My truck sits 4 inches off the ground and rumbles) So I asked her about the other people in the driver thru and she tells me she didn’t know they were there and their vehicles probably sit too high as well. I told her “thanks for nothing” and went to the McDonald’s across town, where I successfully used the drive thru without a single issue and had really excellent service from everyone.
It wasn’t always like this. I’ve been coming down here for years, using the same vehicle I always have, visiting this McDonald’s 2-3 times a month, and never once had a problem until tonight.
