3 guys ready to spend a few bucks, had all our decisions ready to go, so expecting an easy and enjoyable evening. They were out out of what seemed everything on a Saturday night…no ribeye, no focaccia, multiple bottles of wine. Strong fishy smell as soon as you walked into the restaurant.Server was nice but uninformed, had too many tables which resulted in slower service. Steak was cooked at right temp but very under seasoned.
We were told they were closing in a few weeks but this just seemed like poor decision making.

My wife and I had an incredible experience at Terra Italian Steakhouse. From the moment we walked in, everything was outstanding—fantastic food, top-notch service, and a great atmosphere.
I ordered the 12oz filet with Gorgonzola sauce, and it was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, flavorful, and downright heavenly. My wife had the seafood pasta, and she absolutely loved it. We also started with the scallops appetizer, which was perfectly seared and packed with flavor.
Our waiter was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and took great care of us throughout the night. He mentioned he was from Delaware and had just gone skiing for the first time, which made for a fun conversation.
If you’re looking for an unforgettable steakhouse experience, Terra Italian Steakhouse is the place to go. We’ll definitely be back!

Ate here over the holidays with a group of friends. I had the 16oz ribeye medium rare and it was cooked perfectly with a nice char on the outside. We all started with cocktails off the menu then switched to bottles of wine – the bar is definitely complete with an experienced staff! Service was quick and extremely friendly. The atmosphere was so nice, it was cozy sitting inside while it snowed… but definitely gives an upscale and classy vibe. Great spot for a date night, celebration, or if you just want to enjoy a great meal. Definitely will go back soon to sit at the bar for another old fashion or two. Best steakhouse in the area!

We had an amazing meal on Saturday night and the servers were nice and attentive. It took a little long to get entrees but that may have been because we had a 2 yr old with us who is a little less patient. The staff accommodated us early and got us apps very quickly. The calamari was awesome with a little kick. We also got the cheese board and focaccia which were hits. For dinner we did a filet that was very well cooked, the pork chop which was very moist and tastey, the bucatini and meatballs which hit the spot and another pasta dish that was very savory and finished to the last morsel. This is the gem of the three returants under common ownership. The bar looked friendly and well stocked and there is plenty of room for big groups.

We came for a nice dinner. We had a reservation and were seated promptly by a very gracious hostess, and served water right away. It did take about 40 minutes to get our drinks though. And it was 1 hour and 45 minutes until we got entrees. One person in our party was very dissatisfied with their meal and couldn’t eat it. The staff did comp that meal no questions asked. Maybe tonight was a one off? It seems like most people really enjoy this place but our experience was different. On the bright side it’s in a convenient location with a nice atmosphere. It was cozy inside, a bit loud, but very nice Vermont atmosphere.

This place was fantastic! The food, atmosphere and hospitality were all on point and I would love to return. It was lively and busy at 9pm on a Saturday, which suprised me for the area. We had the crab cakes and the burrata salad to start. Crab cakes were fresh with giant pieces of lump crab. The burrata salad had local burrata and was full of toppings. The pasta I got was very rich and meaty, and I loved the polenta in the osso buco. Prices are on the higher end but everything was high quality, lots of homemade/local dishes and fresh. Would like to return.

We ended up here after skiing all day. We arrived at 4 pm, before the rush and sat at the bar. After we sat down, the restaurant began to get busy.
The bartender (Amanda) was excellent and made a lovely cocktail and helped make recommendations for dinner.
We ordered the short rib pappardelle & bucatini and when the entrees arrived I could smell that the bucatini entree smelled burnt and after tasting it, we confirmed that it was indeed burned.
When Amanda asked how the food was, we told her that the bucatini was burned and she immediately sent it back to the kitchen. She said that they were going to remake my dish…
This is where things took a turn in the wrong direction.
While I waited and waited, my fellow diner finished their meal, which was delicious. We waited about 25 minutes and the weather outside took a turn for the worst so we asked to have the food packaged to-go. I figured I’d rather eat it in the car on the drive home than sit there and eat alone.
They gave us the check which we paid – why were we charged for a meal we were still waiting for?
At this point, the bar was very busy and Amanda had her work cut out for her so we went to management to inquire about my meal.
A female manager in a cat sweater promised to check with the kitchen to see if it was almost ready (she didn’t.) We stood awkwardly in the dining room trying to get her to refund us for the food that never came so we could get on the road.
When the manager refunded us for the dinner she actually acted like she comped us! It was so unprofessional and confusing.

Disappointing. Very slow service and it wasnt full. Didnt have the app we wanted 2 order. Brought out dirty wine glasses. Took over an hour to bring out food. We all ordered steaks, which were good but not hot. So many issues, so disappointing. Waitress just didnt care. Wont be back ever.
