Small BBQ spot on the side of the road but all in all it was pretty solid.
Opens early for a BBQ spots at 10 AM so that’s a big plus, ordered two combos which didn’t take long at all.
It comes with sauce all over so ask for none if you don’t want it.
Food was all basically fine with their hot links being the best I’d say, pricing was fair as well.

The restaurant is clean. The staff is friendly. The food is great. I came on lunch. Received my order quickly and was able to enjoy it. This is a Hidden gym. I wish I knew about years ago if you’re in the mood for barbecue, this place is affordable. The Portions are consistent You don’t have to be anyone special with a camera doing a food review, etc. to get great food

If you like bbq, you can find a few decent places in sj but if you love bbq! Look no further, this is by far the best bbq spot in the area hands down. The prices are reasonable, as bbq tends to be on the pricier side. The portions are good and the food… is perfect. The ribs are moist and tasty . Most other bbq ribs in the area are dry and hard to chew. I’ve only ever had one rib comparable to this and that was down south. You can’t go wrong with Jon Jon. I’m excited to try the brisket next. Also the beans are just wow. So delicious, nothing like what my madre and tias make at home, different style of cooking just as delicious.

Lip Smackin, finger lickin good! No other BBQ spot I’ve tried thus far tops the brisket, ribs, baked beans and potato salad. Not to mention their BBQ sauce is so good you just want to drink what’s left! I ate here and left no crumbs! Their brisket justs melts in your mouth. We actually came 2 days in a row just to start hahaha. I based my rating on the food itself. Had to place my order on the kiosk because I wasn’t helped at the counter. I’d keep ordering ahead on door dash because it does get very busy. But that won’t stop me from coming back. You won’t be disappointed with the quality of BBQ provided here.

JonJon is one of my favorite barbecue spots in California. Everything tastes amazing—and I mean everything—but that peach cobbler? That dessert is no joke. You have to try it. It’s absolutely heavenly and incredibly delicious.

Great spot! I am from Memphis so I am picky about my BBQ, this is the best I’ve had anywhere on the west coast.
Also, Matt was super chill and friendly. Vibes were immaculate.

Officially tastiest southern bbq place I’ve tested in South Bay. Simple selection, but everything on our plates was good. Combo playe let’s you try the ribs, brisket, and link/chicken. Sandwich plate comes with sides for $12-14, and you can admire their large smoker – 10+ for long – that makes the delicious meat. Tastiest beef rib, beans, potato salad and hot link I’ve had. Period. Park on the side street, since the main one is tough.

Came by around 12:15pm on a Thursday, and I was able to get in and place my order immediately. The smell of wood smoke filled my lungs once I stepped out my car, so I knew I was in for a good time!
I ordered the 2 meat lunch combo with ribs and Brisket, then got a thigh on the side as well.
Before diving in, I have to say that I typically don’t like my BBQ sauced up. Im willing to make an exception here though because this food was off the chain.
To start, the chicken thigh had smoke flavor all through the bih. It was juicy, tender and seasoned so damn well.
The ribs were meaty and just as smoky as the chicken. They were fall-off-the-bone too(which for most BBQ purists means it’s overcooked), but I thoroughly enjoyed them. The bone was the only survivor!
The brisket also did not disappoint! The fat was rendered, the meat was tender, and it wasn’t overcooked or “pot-roasty”.
Overall, I’ll definitely recommend this place to my friends. Great experience!

Not about to go to hard because it’s a family owned spot being ran by a brother and sister combo. For one I love to see my people getting down and getting to the bag. The atmosphere was cool nice clean place and the brother and sister were definitely nice and welcoming people. However, the ribs were a little dry and under seasoned the baked beans seemed to be canned and the potato salad was missing something. The sauce was nice just wished they had something for people with a spicier palate. Not sure how long the brother was in charge of the smoker but I’m more then sure with a little more time he’ll become a pit master in no time.
