My family had a large birthday party of approximately 15 people and Black Pepper was absolutely fantastic! I’ve been back 3-4 times since for the supper buffets. The buffets and food from Black Pepper are priced very reasonably. The service is absolutely amazing! Plates are cleared quickly, food is fresh, staff are beyond friendly and welcoming! Fantastic selection of both vegetarian and meat dishes. I always look forward to coming back to Black Pepper.

I ordered chicken biryani and it wasn’t up to the mark. Preparation of rice was good still oily, but the chicken pieces were terrible. All pieces were dry, not properly cooked, not at all juicy. I could only eat a small portion of rice and left the rest as it wasn’t eatable.

Never buy from this restaurant. I ordered samosa chaat from there and specifically told them mix yogurt in it. But they gave me like ragada samosa. I really sad about them services. When I called them just argued with us.

Went here for one of my birthdays with a good friend of mine in 2017. I had the two chicken samosas pictured, I can’t remember what he had, but we both agreed that the food was great.
The interior design itself was a bit lacking, and the waitress, while soft spoken, seemed to want to be elsewhere. Great Indian restaurant, though, as my special day wasn’t spoiled by any stretch of the imagination.
Would recommend for the great tasting food, but the portions left something to be desired.

Ordered food from them multiple times. Food tastes very good. But they don’t listen or read any instructions given in order. Multiple times I asked them to keep chicken pieces small so kids can have it too (it’s not hard to make small pieces by myself,but I asked them to do it bcz I pay for order). but they don’t care and don’t listen at all. Naan was over cooked from one side (burnt), chicken in butter chicken was not properly cooked. Salad was missing salt and lemon, it was covered with grounded black pepper. ( That’s their name is that’s why ? ) Even in optional instructions I written clearly but they don’t care , won’t recommend anyone if they don’t improve. Kuldeep Singh ( owner) pay attention. Dinner buffet is open! First time trying this particular restaurant and absolutely loved the food. My wife and I eat Indian food regularly, and have eaten Indian food from all over Canada. From Vancouver to Toronto and even in St. John’s Newfoundland and the food here is on par with the best we have had and is easily the best in Saskatoon. The Butter Chicken was actually the best we have had and the Naan was so light and fluffy and hot buttered out of the oven. Couldn’t stop at just one. Service was excellent and they were very friendly. We will definitely be going back.
Update: Supper buffet is back Friday and Saturday. Food is just as good as before.

I was having a down day (been stuck in hospital since October 12th) so decided to treat myself to my favourite cuisine! And y’all did not let me down!!! It arrived so quickly via Skip, and the portions!!!! I was able have myself a portion tonight, share two snacky portions for my night nurses (don’t hate, I’m a nurse as well and would love to have received this!) and still have leftovers for tomorrow!!! All for under 30$ tip included?!?! Have already started recommending to my family here in the city, much love!!

Rice is never fully cooked. Had multiple experiences where I had to ask the waiter to make sure the rice is fully cooked and it never is. Owner is very rude and yells in front of his customers to his employees.
