We stopped here for lunch! My husband had been wanting to try the tenderloin pizza and was not disappointed! It was incredible! I went with the hot wings and hand cut fries which were an excellent choice! The wings were crispy and sauced to perfection! The fries were also cooked perfectly! The staff was friendly as well as the regulars. We will definitely revisit when we are in the area

Great place! Fantastic food! Awesome people! It hits all around! Go there when it might be slow, go there when a big event is going on, it’s always going to be fun! It’s got that kinda vibe. The wife and I went for some delicious food and some sports, we got all of that and more. We want to come back for some live music, I bet it’s a blast. Check it out if you’re ever in the area.

Stopped in on our way to Doctors appointment in Peoria,and glad we did. Nothing fancy, but certainly homey, very clean and comfortable. Our waitress/ bartender was as pleasant as they come and efficient.
The wife and I both went with the tenderloin and fries (they have a pretty good looking menu overall) The food was timely, fresh and very tasty. They serve hand cut fries, neither of us are typically fans of them, but they know how to fry them and we’re quite good.

Excellent service and food. We ordered the kickass fried pork tenderloin sandwich and fried pickles! Easily enough for two, but if you’re super hungry you could try to take it on yourself!

Country Saloon is our favorite bar to go to! As a transplant to the area, these people have come to be great friends. I’ve never had bad food (and I’ve tried pretty much all the food) and the beer is always reasonably priced (can’t beat $2.50 tall boys). Give a shout to the bartenders for me. They are the best.

Absolutely phenomenal experience at The Country Saloon in East Peoria, Illinois! I came in craving some comfort food and left completely blown away by what might be the best chicken dinner I’ve ever had. The chicken was cooked to absolute perfection—crispy golden skin on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside. Every bite felt like home-cooked heaven. The sides were just as impressive—fluffy mashed potatoes, rich gravy, and classic green beans that tasted like grandma used to make.
But what really put the whole experience over the top was Sam, our waitress. She was friendly, fast, and knew the menu like the back of her hand. You could tell she genuinely cared about her customers. She made us feel like regulars even though it was our first visit. Her warm smile and top-notch service were the cherry on top of an unforgettable meal.
If you’re anywhere near East Peoria, do yourself a favor and stop in for the chicken dinner—and ask for Sam. You won’t be disappointed!
