If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The food was incredible. We sat outside in their dog-friendly patio (which also has comfy couches). Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. We first ordered Chips & salsa (3 types) which was scrumptious, followed by a HUGE steak burrito for my husband. I had the Tinga & Burris tacos. Both were heavenly. Quality & fresh ingredients were forefront in each of the dishes. And to top it off, tres leche cake for dessert made in house. I wish I lived nearer. I would eat here way too often! Oh… and just a plain ole house margarita was divine. No need to upgrade unless you are a tequila connoisseur.

The only thing better than the food and drinks here was the service. Brandon was highly attentive and we really enjoyed sitting at the bar with him. The drinks were exceptional (I can highly recommend the spicy house marg and the Cadillac marg, as well as their tequila espresso martini) and the jalapeño poppers were the best I’ve ever had (zero exaggeration). We’re so happy we popped by this place for happy hour and if we were locals, we’d be in here all the time. Thanks for the hospitality, y’all! We so appreciated you!

Congratulations Tres Toros for keeping up Bozeman’s reputation for having mediocre-at-best Mexican food. For two people without any alcohol, just Mexican cokes, our bill exceeded $100. My wife ordered a Mahi Salad that literally had 4 small and dry pieces of fish in a bowl full of lettuce with dressing that was meh. I had two steak tacos for $8 each that were tiny and had so much onion that it dominated the taste. No sides. Seriously, this restaurant has tremendous potential, great location, hip vibe, good service, but the menu is overpriced, the portions are small, missing traditional dishes like enchiladas. The desserts were dry, overpriced and devoid of any flavor. Sorry everyone bummed.

The atmosphere was certainly enjoyable. Upon our arrival, there was a significant influx of customers that caused a backlog in the kitchen. It appeared that only one person was handling both serving and order-taking duties. Despite this, the food was delivered hot and tasted delicious. We would certainly consider returning.

Super yummy food and able to sit a table of 6. Came here after walking around town and not being able to find a place to sit all six of us together. The staff were super friendly and atmosphere was really cool. Most of us got a few tacos and split some appetizers. We’re all from new york so it was nice and even a little surprising to find a super yummy taco spot. They even had a cricket meat taco(which i ordered), it was alright and it was something different, the corn and soup were also really good! Highly recommend!

Carly was our waitress and was amazing. Great drinks, food, and topped off the night with churros that were incredible. Highly recommend visiting after a day of skiing or just for any reason!

I love a chef driven menu like this. You get your standard Mexican food but add a whole lot of food love and knowledge that combines for an excellent eat. Some of the best jalapeño poppers I’ve ever had. And if I was more of a gluten, I would have cleaned house on my nachos which were so….dang….good! I add to this review that I tried the cricket tacos and the pork belly tacos. Oh My!! I can’t even begin to describe how much I over ate tonight. And I can’t stop eating the cilantro lime rice! One more thing… Kaleb was spot on as a server. We appreciated the prompt exceptional service he provided with our meal. And whoever the bartender was made me a rum and coke that was better than I can explain. Met the owners wife too. See photos for the dedication they have for their restaurant!!

If this place was close to our home, we’d eat with them once a week. The menu is creative and fun. The food is fresh and delicious…one could even say “Tasty”! When I think about their loaded nachos, my mouth waters. They were the best that I’ve EVER had! Save room for dessert. What a great place with great service.

We had an amazing dinner at Tres Toros in Big Sky, and I can’t say enough good things about it. The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care—but what truly made the night special was the service.

Carly and Brandon were exceptional. They were genuinely warm, incredibly attentive, and made us feel taken care of from the moment we sat down. You can tell they both take pride in what they do, and it absolutely elevated our entire experience. Their recommendations were spot on, and they struck the perfect balance of being friendly while giving us space to enjoy our night.

If you’re in Big Sky, do yourself a favor and stop by Tres Toros. We’ll definitely be back and we’ll be asking for Carly and Brandon again!
