I have given this restaurant 4 stars instead of 5 because the server never checked my table of 2 to see if we needed anything else and or if the food was good. He walked by out table several times and was extremely focused on the birthday party of 11 people in the back. The only person who checked on my table of two was the owner. A tab of $77 for 2 people the service could be a lot better especially since this restaurant was not packed. The food, drinks and atmosphere were phenomenal!

Sotano continues to be one of our favorite spots. The restaurant was packed, which is always a great sign, and the energy was lively without feeling overwhelming.
Our server, Alejandra, was outstanding. She was attentive, anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, and made sure everything flowed smoothly despite how busy the evening was. Her professionalism and warmth truly elevated the experience.
The food, service, and atmosphere once again delivered. If you’re looking for a place that combines great flavors with excellent hospitality, Sotano is well worth the visit.

Absolutely exceptional food and service! Rack of lamb and Shell Steak was nearly 99% fat free and super juicy! Very nice owner and one of the best waitresses, Kristen! We absolutely will be returning! Tip- try her Amaretto Sour! Superb!

Sotano came highly recommended by a colleague who frequents the establishment. So we went in with high expectations and they sure did not disappoint. Ambiance, cleanliness, service and food were all top notch. Had the crab and lobster bisque, butternut squash soup, octopus, braised lamb and scallops. Each dish perfectly delicious. A true gem.

We randomly chose this from Google and when we got there the aroma in the parking lot just gorgeous. Upon entering we were greeted by this fresh smell ie no overpowering smell of food everywhere. We were promptly seated and the adventure began. The calamari and the lobster bisque was excellent seasoned just right and they serve a bread that’s just heavenly. We had the Crispy Skin Duck and Frutti Di Mare which was excellent. The staff Hernan O was attentive,polite and knowledgeable about the offerings.

Service and food were both incredible. We started with Kristen and Natalie came in mid way, and both were amazing! I always appreciate people taking care of me the way I take care of my customers.
Food was top notch from apps to dessert. A definite must stop if you are new in Fishkill!

Sotanos was really good. Calamari app. was good. The Mediterranean Sea Bass entree was delicious. Seafood risotto was okay. Seafood on it was good but the risotto was not well done. That was the only negative. We’d go back. The menu has many interesting looking dishes that sound delicious. The place itself is a very pretty house and the dining areas are lovely!

This is the first time we visited the place. And boy! It was amazing! The food was great. The atmosphere was even greater. I had the Sotano Burger. The dried aged beef gave that rich flavour. Our friends had the chicken and the mussel. It was good even the water and wine. Inside they have the bar wih the ceiling beam exposed. I find it to be interesting design.
The owner of the restaurant came out to greet us and the waitress was even nicer. I definitely recommend this place and will surely come back again for others on the menu. Excellent experience!

Fishkill has surprised me again. This gem of a wonderful place right on Main Street is nothing short of amazing. Cozy with friendly staff. The menu was diverse tho most dishes were tomato based. I had the scallops and I must say that it was done right. The crab cake could have been better as there was a lot of filling. The lobster and crab bisque was ok. I chose to say ok because it was tasty however I’m used to chunks of meat in my bisque
