Call to place an order this morning. Guy instantly has an attitude and continues to huff and puff the whole time he’s taking my order as if it’s not his job to take the order.
$37 for a big Tex, French toast and a side of bacon. French toast was burnt and not edible as it was hard as a rock. Bananas were clearly bad.
Big Tex was okay at best.
Really wanted to like this place since its veteran owned but seems like they don’t have much care for to go orders.

Absolutely amazing. The food is very clearly fresh cooked, and tastes fabulous. The coffee barbeque sauce had my fiance about licking his plate. I had the seasonal gingerbread pancakes and could smell them from the table, and it smelled heavenly. For a total of $43 for 2 entrees, 2 tacos, and a plate of pancakes ), as well as coffee and orange juice, is a great deal. We will certainly be making this a regular dine out.

This is now one of my favorite places to eat in Cove. I love little local veteran owned places and today this one captured my heart! The service was exceptional and the biscuits and gravy was the best I’ve had in Texas yet! The atmosphere is very chill and loving. Thank you for your service! I will be back!

First time here and, oh my goodness, it was fantastic!!! When we walked in, I smelled yummy food and syrup… a sweet welcoming. I knew I was in the right place! Everything is made from scratch and y’all just gotta try it! We got the double stack of Pancakes and full order of French Toast. Didn’t realize they don’t play when it comes to portions… WOW!!! The bananas and strawberries were so sweet and fresh!!!

After a 13 hours drive, we needed some good breakfast and coffee! We found this place on Google and decided to try it. Service was slow but great! It took a while to get coffee and to get it refilled. The food was cooked from scratch and was very tasty. The lady that took our orders was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, which was helpful.

Really enjoyed our first meal here. I had aone of the specials, pulled pork and waffles. The pork was excellent and the waffles were delicious. . My boyfriend had the French toast with strawberries and bananas. I’ll go back next time I’m in Copperas Cove.

Heard good things about this place and hunny let me tell you……… they have some good food. My husband and I ordered breakfast and I got the waffles with strawberries on top with bacon and had a huge plate with fried chicken, gravy etc. . Very delicious and will definitely be back. Prices were reasonable and the staff was awesome. My waitress name was Amber and she was very attentive to our table! Kudos to Amber! You go girl

My boyfriend and I tried this place for the first time and let me tell you, its an amazing little place. My boyfriend had the chicken and waffles and a couple of the breakfast burritos. I had the biscuits and graby and a breakfast taco. He said the waffles were nice and fluffy and the chicken was tender and juicy. We both loved the tacos, and the torillas are home made, nice and strong to hold the taco filling, and my biscuits and gravy were amazing!! The biscuits were also homemade, nice and thick biscuits but perfectly soft, and the gravy had a bit of a kick, from the homemade sausage they make, but man it was great!! The owner came and talked to us, introduced himeself and was very nice, as was his young bus boy/waiter, for a young man he definitely had an amazing work attitude and checked on us while we were there!! We definitely plan on going back!!
