Went this past weekend to see Frankie J, didnt think i was going to see him as i had a prior engagement scheduled at the same time doors opened here. By the time I go to Winters it was 11:30pm, i thought I would have forsure missed him. A friend got me in and in VIP (if thats what you call VIP) I believe she was paying $150 for like $40 liquor bottles which is crazy and the shots tasted like water. The sound quality was not good and Frankie didnt even come out till like 1am, I heard it was the same for Amanda Perez, that she didnt come out till about the same time. I def won’t be back to that bar, just not my type of vibes i guess. Didnt expect to see Frankie in a place like that.

I’m writing this review to warn anyone considering going to this establishment.
I’ve been to Winter’s Sports Bar about 6–7 times, mainly because they’re one of the only places that host Tejano artists. That’s honestly the only reason we kept going back, even after noticing several shady and frustrating issues.
The first time was to see Gary Hobbs. I took my mom and sister because my mom loves him. Right away, we were shocked by the prices — $36 for a bucket of only 5 beers. On top of that, every table is for rent. I asked a server if my mom could just have a chair to sit down. She kindly gave us one, but shortly after, another staff member came up and told my mom he needed the chair back and that the server “wasn’t allowed” to give it to her. That alone made me want to leave. The rudeness and lack of basic courtesy were unbelievable. We only stayed because my mom wanted to see Gary Hobbs.
We went again for another artist (can’t even remember who because they were clearly drunk on stage — slurring words and not even singing properly). It was overcrowded, there was nowhere to sit, and again, tables were only available if you paid $150–$200. We left early.
Another visit was for The Palominos, and by then the beer buckets were $38. We stayed that night only because The Palominos put on an amazing live performance, which almost made the overpricing tolerable.
This past weekend was the final straw. We paid $30 tickets to see Amanda Perez, advertised as a live performance. To support her, I bought a T-shirt for $50, which turned out to have cheap ink that already looks faded. Now the beer buckets are $43 for 5 beers. Amanda Perez was late, minors were being let in and were visibly drunk in the bathrooms, and worst of all — she didn’t even sing live. She let a track play instead.
I was beyond upset. Between the extreme overcharging, lack of seating, rude staff, misleading advertising, and poor crowd control, this place is not worth it.
If you decide to go, make sure you bring a lot of money, expect to stand the entire time, and don’t expect professionalism. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and I will never return.

Went to Z-RO in concert and I loved it I win definitely go again big thanks to the Mo City Don coming out it was a time to be had I was smiling ear to ear all way back to Fort Worth Texas.

A welcoming and energetic watering hole. I was a vendor for one of the free concerts they had here and it did not disappoint. All the acts were right there within the crowd’s reach and it was badass. I highly recommend this place for live shows and great atmosphere.

Saw comedians Quinn Dale, his wife Leonarda Jonie, and Yoshi perform here. They were all very non politicaly correct comedians and they all killed it!!!! Everyone loved them!!!!! I even took my Mexican friend who almost never laughs at anything and even he thought they were Hilarious .

I have been to this establishment before a while back and I liked it. I came back the other day and was disappointed in the service they provided. It seemed like there was only one bartending the bar and had a lot of customers. The bartender eventually got to us and was rude. And on the bar there are several signs about tipping the bartender. Well I definitely would not want to tip someone who is rude to me. She seemed bothered that we were there trying to order drinks. After going for a second round, there was another bartender there but she was on the other side. I am not sure if I will be returning to this place again.

This place already has a very small dance floor and to make things worse the owner of this place with his greed puts tables on the dance floor just to make more money by renting them out. And the DJ doesn’t know how to shut up when a song is playing and doesn’t let the songs he plays finish.
