Welcome to Pier Sushi Mini, our food trailer concept created after the fire temporarily closed our main Pier Sushi location. We may be smaller, but we’re still serving up the same fresh sushi, signature rolls, and grilled favorites you know and love. Located on our deck, Pier Sushi Mini allows us to stay connected to our guests while we work toward rebuilding.

I ordered the Yakisoba roll (highly recommend, especially if it’s your first time). It was super filling and had perfectly cooked shrimp tempura with the best crunch. The flavors were balanced and satisfying without being overwhelming.
I also tried the Dam Good Roll, and the name says it all. It had just the right amount of heat from the sriracha and jalapeño, giving it a nice kick without being too spicy. The fact that it’s fried just takes it to another level.
Lastly, the Rangoon Roll was such a pleasant surprise. It had the perfect sweet and savory balance, and the cream cheese made it smooth and easy to enjoy. Definitely a unique roll that I’d order again.
Overall, everything we tried was delicious, fresh, and well made. I’m already looking forward to coming back, especially to try their hibachi under the stars when it launches.
I drove about 45 minutes because I heard great things about the sushi here and BOY IS IT GOOD!!!!
I got the Dynamite Shrimp which was literally so good I’ve never had anything like it. My husband got the Ring of fire and he just had to order a second. Mason who made the food for us, he was so excited and welcoming. He gave us some great recommendations. I definitely will make the drive to just eat there again!!!!!
I made the drive all the way from San Antonio to Canyon Lake just for this spot, and let me tell you it did not disappoint. The vibe is super chill and welcoming, and the staff is some of the friendliest you’ll ever meet.
The food? Absolutely delicious! Huge portions, amazing prices, and so many tasty options that you’ll want to try everything. It’s also super family-friendly, with great choices even for the little ones.
If you’re anywhere near the area or even if you’re not do yourself a favor and make the trip. You won’t regret it!
2024 update : We’re now a family of 5 and the service and food is still as good as ever. The keto options are still available (though I no longer need them) and Chef Edy still creates new plates.
The atmosphere is great and clean, the music choices are different each time but enjoyable. This last time I went, they ran out of steamed rice for the poke bowls, do not choose the noodles instead of fried rice, wasn’t a good mesh. I thought. But I still like them and the other items are all worth trying if you’re a full sushi lover.
My favorite thing to get is salmon nigiri and they do thick cuts and it’s buttery and fresh tasting. Best thing here.
Godzilla and the saggy dog specialty rolls were amazing! Everything tasted so fresh and clean. Cannot wait to come back and try more menu items. Please go and support them, I never want them to leave.
