We decided to try this place at the last minute, on a Sunday, about 4:30. We had heard so much about their pizza, we just had to try it. We were not the first ones in, but the bar and dining room were not crowded. We were welcomed like old friends, which was nice. We chose a table near the bar, and as time went on, the place filled up. It appears many regulars like it here, and Bar Dice was banging on the bar often.
We were told they were known for their lasagna, pizza, and garlic bread, so we started with the garlic bread, which was thick and very buttery. But I did not taste much garlic until I was told there was a shaker of it on the table, and I could add more myself if I wanted. Done.
We then ordered a sausage pizza, which came out super hot (yay!) with really crispy crust, just the way it should be. But the sausage was minimal and kind of bland. All in all it was an OK pizza but not our favorite.
I did not see an entrance that was accessible for those with mobility issues. The bar area is crowded and not good for easy access, even just walking through. The dining area was more open, if you can get in the door.
Apparently, business is really good, so I have to assume it is more my taste that wasn’t matched. I’m glad we tried it just to see what everyone talks about.

If you live old school Italian food and old school Wisconsin bars, this is a fantastic combo. A relaxed bar atmosphere (with a separate restaurant area, we just stayed at the bar) coupled with delicious Italian classics. The crunchy cracker crust style pizza, generous servings of pasta (plus nice 1/2 order options for when you’re just kinda hungry), and irresistible cheesy garlic bread hottubbing in butter means I’m going to work out more so I can come back more often. Peroni on tap is a nice plus!

At was fine.
Dining area in the back was terrible. Bad service took too long for the food. Half of it was warm. One pizza had onions on it that we did not order. Just bad experience. Hope it was an anomaly.

We called for carry out. The person who answered spoke clearly and with ambition.
Pick up was on time and still very friendly.
The food was hot, tasteful and a hit out of the park! Thank you staff for making us happy.

First time at this Italian restaurant in North Lake. Their menu is very similar in items and taste as the classic Mama Mia’s from Milwaukee.

We ate at the bar. The place was busy, but we were still checked on regularly. The atmosphere reminds me of up north bars/restaurants.

I ordered the Lasagna special, which includes soup, salad, garlic bread, lasagna and ice cream. The soup was delicious; the salad was simple, lettuce with meat, cheese, pepperoncini, but the dressing made it special; the garlic bread made this trip worth it, thick crisp buttery, will go back just for this; I was initially disappointed in the lasagna, so much cheese made it hard to eat. Suggestion, start in the middle where the noodles and meat are and work your way out to avoid only cheese. Once I figured that out it was very good.

I will go back here again and could easily see raising this rating to a 5.

We ordered 2 pans of lasagna with garlic bread and salad to go, for a party. It was excellent and everyone (a group of 12 guys) raved about the food! Would definitely do their catering again.

My wife and I stopped by for a brew and appetizer. We had a Franziskaner and egg plant fries. Both were REALLY good. The service was quick and awesome! We highly recommend this place! (Their pizza is also out of this world good!)

Just picked up 2 small pizzas and a small Italian salad. Each pizza was $25. I ordered the veggie pizza with no black olives, and of course it had black olives. Crust was totally stale. The worst part was the small Italian salad. It is tiny but cost $8.50. Save your money and get good food anywhere else. Picture of $8.50 salad included.
