Review: The Nan Thai mother-daughter duo redefines fine dining
Reviews
Entree highlights for us were the Chilean Sea Bass served over crab fried rice with steamed bok choy. The Wagyu beef cheek entree with curry and rice was outstanding as well.
Overall, we really enjoyed every dish that we ate – the flavors were rich and thoughtfully combined. The service was also really lovely.
Valet parking is easy and directly adjacent to the Nan entrance.
The dumpling lettuce wraps were fresh and fun to eat, nice as a starter. Drinks looked amazing (the purple one with lychee was super pretty), but taste-wise they were just okay — not bad, but not something I’d order again.
Service was honestly excellent — super attentive without being overbearing. The staff really added to the experience.
Overall: good food, great service, drinks were fine. I’d go back, especially for the main dishes and the vibe.
Music in the background brings another flavor to the atmosphere.
On a positive note, the service was exceptional and truly above and beyond our expectations. Additionally, the cocktails were wonderful, with the Negroni being the best we’ve ever had.
The drunken noodles were delicious and surprisingly large portioned too! The dumplings were a good, standard 8/10 dim sum. The chef’s award soup has a bit sour and too creamy, but if you like Thai soup you’d like it!
Do come if you’re in downtown buckhead
