tl;dr: pizza delicious, but only order for pick-up at this location. Full story: Food quality across locations is usually great, but Georgetown location has service and/or communication problems. We ordered online; received email confirmation 6:23 on a Saturday night, so imagine our delight when checking back with their tracker function a few minutes later the status showed out for delivery, estimated arrival 6:53. So as 7pm came and went, we weren’t too concerned. But by 7:30 we were wondering, so we called the location; after waiting on hold for 14 min, our pizza arrived (nearly an hour past the estimate). Honestly we forgot to end the call until 18min had lapsed on hold. Just as we realized the call was still running that long, the call ended (not by us). I understand being busy, but…what happened?

When I picked up my pizza with cheese, sausage and green peppers from Marco’s Pizza in Georgetown, TX, The employee told me they are out of green peppers, so I didn’t get any on my pizza. She credited the price of the green peppers to my card, but did not reduce her tip. She had my phone number, but never called to tell me they can’t give me what I ordered. Some pieces of pizza had no sausage on them and other pieces had one piece of sausage on it. I do not recommend Marco’s Pizza in Georgetown. Thumbs down.

This Marco’s location is sooo lackluster. They have continually gone downhill since I’ve been coming here over the last two years. They ALWAYS forget the crust toppers, they frequently do not have the soda in stock that you request online, the skimp on toppings or put 90% of them in the dead center of the pizza, they cannot seem to ever cook it well done no matter if it’s requested. The one in hutto/pflugerville that I used to go to was farrr superior and I miss it! It was the location that got me loving Marcos pizza! This location is no better than a Pizza Hut, sadly. Such a disappointment because it’s the only Marcos location in the area!

I am not one to write reviews. But I need to after my horrible experience yesterday. I fell in love with Marcos Pizza when an Airbnb guest in NC introduced it to me. Prior to this I usually have pizza hut or domino’s but I thought the Marcos pizza was really good. Moved to Texas started ordering at Williams Drive in Georgetown where I live now. Been ordering for the past 3 years sometimes pick up sometimes delivery. Yesterday I ordered a pizza and everything was bad. From them taking the call to the delivery. The person who took the call was impolite, stressed, frazzled didn’t know what he was doing and rude. So much went wrong with the phone call but I can’t get into details. He didn’t know what he was doing. Having worked at Pizza Hut in the past I am familiar with the ordering software for pizza stores. The guy was doing everything wrong. Had to get someone to help him. I was patient but knew it was going to turn out bad because he didn’t ask questions like is this for delivery or take out. I truly to give him this information but he was always frazzled making it seem like his busy environment was making it impossible to take the order correctly. I assure you, this isn’t true. The software is very simple. They end up delivering the pizza late, no cheese (tho I pleaded to add it on the side the powdered one). In their chaos they didn’t take the correct drink order. I asked for wings and they gave me chicken nuggets half white half red (buffalo style). The chicken was disgusting and so was the pizza. I was sooo hungry still the food was disgusting. The girl that showed up to deliver told me she usually put the cheese in her bag but it always falls out, SoRry. I added a 5 dollar tip prior to the delivery. A delivery that also required an additional 4.99 dollars delivery fee. I had to call asking where is my delivery. That didn’t go well. While on the phone waiting for them to track the order my doorbell rang. I said oh I think they are here. The guy hung up on me before the last word exited my mouth. I will NEVER Ever order from Marcos again. They don’t care about customer service anymore. I don’t know why the food was so disgusting but that experience I don’t want to repeat. I was stuck with Pepsi soda that I didn’t want, a bad experience and I couldn’t enjoy my food because it was not done with any care. If you are experiencing anything like this here, know that it’s deliberate. They don’t care about their customers because they think we don’t have options.

This is the best pizza I’ve tried in TX so far! Not exactly the same, but almost on par with east coast pizza (which is the best lol). I think it was the owner I met when I picked up the pizza, and he was so nice and friendly and gave me a discount on the spot, so thank you very much! We got 2 pizzas, and my only complaint is that the bottom crust was just a little tough on one of the pizzas, but I would absolutely come back again and recommend this place. It’s a little pricey for the size of the pizza, but that seems to be on track with the rest of the pizza places in the area. One thing I’d like to change about the online ordering are the options for custom pizzas. When you select the bbq pizza, you can see it comes with a bbq sauce drizzle, but that isn’t an option when you start a custom pizza, and I’m not sure why. I would also appreciate seeing the size in inches when selecting a size just like you see whwn you go in person (e.g. Large – 14″).

Great pizza hasn’t failed me yet. I’ve been going to this location and others for years. Surely, in my top two of pizza chains.

Order here because it’s about as good as you can get around here (which ain’t sayin much). But this time and last time the delivery has been very slow (1.5 hrs order to delivery this time), pizza arrives cold, service is not helpful at best.

Great pizza and friendly service! The crust was perfectly crispy, and the combination of traditional & old world pepperoni toppings were fresh! Marcos in Georgetown is a solid choice for a quick and tasty meal.

Oh man, I was ordering from here for the longest and then I just left after placing an order and I saw Nevia, pick up a receipt off the floor and slide it into the front of a pizza box. Which is really gross and I can’t imagine if she does that. What else does she drop and put back on?

Literally my favorite pizza but it’s hit or miss on if our order is correct. We always order parm crust and sometimes we get it and sometimes we don’t. We always order the garlic dipping sauce side and sometimes we get it and sometimes we don’t….honestly more times than not it is missing. Consistency and reading orders correctly is something to work on with the team.
