Even though the restaurant was super busy, the staff remained very attentive and friendly. Service didn’t skip a beat, and everyone I interacted with was helpful and welcoming.
The atmosphere is warm and modern, with that polished wood aesthetic that fits the name perfectly. My dessert was rich the chocolate cake topped with fresh strawberries and fluffy whipped cream was the perfect finishing touch.
I ordered an appetizer of Japanese Fried Chicken bites ($14), this is Marinated and potato starch crusted fried chicken thighs, chili aioli, sweet soy. These were excellent. The chicken was crunchy and the sauce really went well with the chicken. For my main I ordered Wagyu Noodle Bowl ($28). This is a
6oz grilled Wagyu, dark soy, ginger, light soy, garlic, oyster sauce, Thai basil, onion, bell peppers, mushrooms, broccolini, carrot, and yaki soba noodles. This was fantastic. Especially the steak. Super tender and melted in my mouth. The noodles were excellent and the sauce complimented everything. I was really tempted with the cider cheesecake for desert, but I was too full.
The service was excellent. Very friendly and helpful.
Overall a 5 star review. Would I return? Absolutely. Wonderful steak and a unique menu.
The presentation was elegant and thoughtful: a velvety slice crowned with delicately thin, crisp dehydrated apple chips arranged like sails, adding both visual appeal and a satisfying textural contrast. Accompanying it were artful swirls of silky caramel sauce and a light apple reduction that complemented the cider flavor without overpowering it. The graham crust provided just the right amount of buttery crunch to tie everything together.
) which we didn’t like for a 5 dollar upgrade side and the philly cheese thing. that was probably the worse because it was pretty mushy looking spicy taste on a philly i think their jam with it just reminded of puppy chow food not a philly it was like ground beef . just a lot of fried food appetizers and entre or steak or burger like a lot of michigan bar food . we get that mount pleasant doesn’t have many good restaurant options but it seemed like just an overpriced experience when the quality wasn’t there but hopefully they can learn but we won’t be back i don’t think . i will admit workers were friendly but not very good service at least the bartender but he was kind of busy with a full saturday night crowd maybe they need another bartender too
