Dropped in for some pho at Pho Countryside did not disappoint. Nice quaint hole in the wall restaurant with delicious Vietnamese cuisine. Our go-to. Clean, well lit with comfortable seating. Service was excellent. Attentive, friendly, courteous and polite. We ordered roasted marinated squad, fresh spring rolls, scallion pancakes for appetizers. Pho, of course, chicken with crispy noodles, beef vermicelli bowl and beef and broccoli. All were absolutely delicious. The perfect comfort foods. Highly recommend. Will definitely return and try the other items on the menu. Pho for sure.

For both pho we tried, broth was somewhat lacking, not savory or aromatic, and served not piping hot.

Reading the reviews I was very skeptical about this place. However, to my surprise their Bún bò Huế was actually good. The broth was well made; rich and spicy. The waiter was super friendly as well so cheers to that!

I tried their new bò né dish on the menu for $22. It was pretty mediocre. It came with an almost-empty bottle of Chinsu sauce and what felt like maybe $5 worth of actual food. Extra bread was another $2. I still felt very hungry afterward because it seemed like a dollar’s worth of ingredients hastily thrown onto a hot plate. Would I recommend paying $22 for this? Hell no.

I ordered d1, which was a bit like chowder noodles. The soup was not bad. I also ordered a chicken skewer. It is not recommended. It is fried. The lime sparkling water is a little too sweet. The waiter has a good attitude. Tell me that he will help me arrange the sweetness next time when I tell him about it.

I came here to try Mi Quang and Bun Cha Ha Noi, the 2 specialty dishes that I saw Pho Countryside recently added to their offering. You have to ask for them as they are not on the menu yet. I was thoroughly impressed by the presentation and the taste from these 2 dishes coming from 2 different regions in Vietnam. It is VERY HARD to find these dishes around here!
While Bun Cha Ha Noi is a special dish coming from Northern Vietnam, Mi Quang is a special dish coming from Central Vietnam. The word Ha Noi from Bun Cha Ha Noi stands for the capital of Vietnam. It is such a special dish that when President Obama visited Vietnam, this is what he got! For this reason, in Vietnam they often call this dish Obama noodle. The word Quang from Mi Quang stands for Quang Nam, a city in the central coast of Vietnam where this noodle originated from.
As mentioned above, not many restaurants in Massachusetts offer these dishes. I tried Mi Quang at 3 other places in Massachusetts and this is the best! Even better than the Mi Quang in Miami, and sometimes in Saigon! Very authentic as well! I can attest as my mom came from Quang Nam. Even in certain regions in Vietnam, this dish could be not quite as good!
The service was also amazing! The server was very attentive. The owner walked around the restaurant to check on the customers to ensure everyone was happy. Great ambiance as well! Overall we had a great experience and will definitely be back

Pho Countryside is a must-visit for authentic Vietnamese food in Quincy! The restaurant is clean, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the manager at the front welcomed us like family, which made us feel right at home. Ambiance was nice and casual.
For our appetizer, we shared the Banh Xeo—perfectly crispy with fresh veggies, absolutely delicious! For our mains, we had the Pho Tai, Pho Saté, and Bun Rieu, and each dish was packed with rich, well-balanced flavors. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and authentic.
We will definitely be coming back to try more dishes. Highly recommend!

The food was great, and our waiter was super friendly, with chill good vibes!!! He gave me an awesome food recommendation since I only wanted B3 of the 7 course beef. Show me another section where I can make myself spring rolls. Will be back again.

I went to this restaurant today and all the time I come to visit USA I need to go there. For at least 3 years I go there and the food is always the same quality and same delicious taste. I love to eat pork chop and drink Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. The employees are very friendly and very nice!
