Tried Norkys Peruvian Restaurant today via Uber Eats. I ordered the Pollo a la Brasa Combo, which included a whole rotisserie chicken, salad, and french fries. I also ordered maduros (sweet plantains), ají verde (green sauce), arroz chaufa especial, and salchipapa (not pictured…I had already started eating it and forgot ). Portions were generous, and everything was tasty. I would order again.

If you like Peruvian food then Norkys will make you LOVE it. The service is better than most Michelin star restaurants, the atmosphere is great. between the music and lighting it’s very cozy and relaxing.
The lomo saltado is to die for. The roasted chicken is always on point, every dipping sauce is so delicious (especially the green one).
Sometimes there’s live music. If you live in middlesex county (or anywhere in NJ for that matter) and haven’t tried Norkys then you’re missing out on real authentic Peruvian food, and if you don’t know what Peruvian cuisine is then this is the best place to try it. It’s Much better than Lena y Carbon. No offense to those guys I’m just being honest Norkys is like finding a diamond in the rough. The true meaning of a “hidden gem”.
Also the pricing is really good too. You cannot cook for yourself at these prices. So next time you’re thinking of cooking a roasted chicken save yourself the headache and order takeout or enjoy eating in at Norkys. This place NEVER disappoints

We discovered this beautiful gem by accident. And what a discovery. The food was delicious and the presentation was not less impressive. We tried the skirt steak and the Pescado a lo Macho. We’ll definitely be back to try other menu items. Oh don’t forget to try the peruvian chicha. A red velvety spicy fruity non-alcoholic drink, you won’t regret it.

Tried Norkys last night and absolutely loved it. I’m sorry for not using the actual menu item names but I’m sure I will in the future after going some more! I had the mixed meat/grill which has all kinds of marinated and seasoned kabab, sausage, pork chop, and steak and my wife has a fried seafood combo that had fish, shrimps, calamari and pieces of fried yucca as well. Both dishes were tasty and so plentiful that we had leftovers for today’s lunch. Oh, her dish also had the ceviche (which definitely wasn’t called that ) with lots of chunks of fish that wife thought was too citricy but I loved (no leftovers of that ). The waitress/woman in charge, Michelle?? was super helpful, friendly, approachable for us first time /ignorant diners and made the experience a very enjoyable night out for us. The other person/waiter was also super and friendly as well! Also loved the purple corn drink – wasn’t as sugary sweet as other places. Will definitely go/be back. Went there on a recommendation that their rotisserie chicken was the reason to eat there but the menu just screamed out louder!

We thought we ordered the correct item of the menu, when the appetizer arrived we noticed we had made a mistake. They instantly changed it without a problem, so we do appreciate that.
We travel from 1 hr away and it’s always well worth it. Just look at the pictures, food was fantastic!

I ordered Pollo a la Brasa from here today, and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The chicken looked old, smelled off, and even had an unusual green hue. It was nothing like the fresh, flavorful dish I was hoping for. Definitely not the quality I expected, especially given how iconic this dish is for Peruvians. I couldn’t even finish it. I hope the restaurant looks into their standards because this was unacceptable.
