Le Buzz Plaza Coffee Co – A Hidden Gem for Breakfast and Coffee …
Reviews
Before this I had another instance where I asked for two over easy eggs and was charged $6 dollars, without being told that that was how much the price would be. I tried to let the counter service know that a notification of how much it would be would have been helpful, but was met with “I don’t care” vibes.
I don’t go out to eat very often as much as I used to, in this economy it is expensive to go out. So if your time and money are precious to you and going to breakfast is a special occasion I’d consider going elsewhere.
The management seems to have changed at le buzz, and they don’t prioritize experience, or seem to care about the stress levels of their staff. If you work there and am reading this, I’m so sorry y’all are so stressed out.
I’m a big breakfast/brunch girl, and this place has quickly become our favorite. The food is always delicious, the staff are super friendly, and ordering is easy.
I’ve been living in Tucson for 2 years, and since discovering this gem in January, we’ve been coming every weekend—sometimes even 3 times a week (no shame ).
We’re proud to call ourselves certified regulars. More power to this amazing place!
We chose to dine outside, right beside a gentle fountain. The soft murmur of water brought an immediate calm, soothing the kids and settling our post-ride energy. I ordered a seasonal coffee, Cinnamon Buttermilk, and every sip was perfection: rich, smooth, and warmly spiced. For breakfast, I went with the “American in Paris”, a choice inspired by their exceptional bakery. Every bite confirmed it—flaky, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared.
The space itself is charming, with details that feel intimate and welcoming. Le Buzz isn’t just a café—it’s a hidden gem where atmosphere, taste, and family moments converge beautifully. If you find yourself in Tucson, it’s an absolute must-visit for breakfast.
During our visit today, I placed an order for three meals and three coffees—one each for my husband, my son, and myself. The drinks arrived, then the food for my husband and son, but nothing for me. When I asked about my meal, the staff member checked and told me they had only rung in two meals. My son, who was standing next to me during the order, confirmed that I clearly ordered all three items.
It appears the employee simply failed to ring in my meal, and I did not notice the mistake on the receipt—something most customers reasonably wouldn’t scrutinize when ordering.
Instead of acknowledging their error and simply preparing the missing food, I was told they could make my meal only if I paid for it again since it wasn’t on the receipt. I asked to speak with the manager, hoping for common-sense customer service. Unfortunately, the manager—while offering an apology—repeated the same stance: they would only make the food if I paid, even though it was their mistake and I had already waited while my family ate. Her attitude made it clear she did not care.
For a place we have supported for years, this was extremely disappointing. Any self-respecting establishment would correct their own error and make the missing meal without charging the customer again.
After this experience, we will not be returning. It’s sad to see a restaurant I genuinely liked treat loyal customers so poorly.
