Absolutely the best Mexican food in Louisville. The green enchiladas are my favorite food and the salsa is warm and delicious. The service is always great and they have a good selection of beer. Your food comes out looking as good as it tastes. Looks like something featured in a magazine! I recommend this place to all!

Tastes like Texas-Northern Mexico!! For some reason, people around here seem to think that the food of far northern Mexico is not legitimate Mexican. Maybe it’s because all the local chains do “Tex-Mex” so poorly. Finally, a restaurant here in Louisville that gets this regional variation and does it well. It’s nothing fancy– just good food. This place got really negative reviews a few years back, but it seems like they’ve made a changes for the better.

Restaurant is very clean and the service is great. The iced tea was fresh and clear, unlike many Mexican restaurants around here. We only had one kind of salsa, the warm red. It was delicious and the chips were nice and crisp. In fact, I ate too many! The guacamole was fresh and had no fillers like mayo. You could tell that the sauces were made in-house. None of that canned typical enchilada sauce you get in the local chains. I had the spinach enchiladas, and the ranchero sauce was perfection. The spinach was fresh, not canned. For some reason, the enchilada was rolled with a flour tortilla. Weird, but it didn’t matter– it was good. My husband had the chili gravy on his. I grew up in South Texas, and this sauce tasted like my grandma’s.

It would be nice if they had more veggie options, but northern Mexico is a place long-steeped in the traditions of ranching and that means beef and cheese. But, we will be back!

The food here is fantastic! My boyfriend and I have eaten here twice and have been blown away every time. The flavor of the salsa is complex, smokey, a bit of cilantro – wonderful. It is served warm, which is something we hadn’t had before eating here, but we really like it! Each time we have been here, we have been blown away by the flavor of the sauces! Ve

Extremely well prepared Tex-Mex cuisine. A variety of flavors & styles of food from beef, pork, chicken & seafood. The salsa is made in house & served warm and there are at least 3 different kinds to choose from if you ask. Definitely not your normal cookie cutter Mexico restaurant.
