Everytime i go to California, I make sure to buy something to bring to Canada for my family from the bakery. I bought few items yesterday from Valerio’s South San Francisco rushing to the airport because of my mom’s request. I felt very disappointed when i tried the Hopia Baboy, that the quality isn’t great, i am eating a lot of bread not much filling with the cost of 7.95 4pieces in a bag. Cost is so expensive, with the quality of food. It feels like it is a rip off. You should check the item first before sell it to your customers so you don’t get a bad review. Make sure it is worth for your customers hard earned money.

I love the bread here but seriously they’re not clean. The first bag I got had a small fly in it. Returned it 8 minutes later. I get this bag home and start eating it to find another bug in it.

There’s a bunch of Valerio’s in the Bay Area. They all make the same type of Filipino pastries- hopia (mung bean filled moon cakes), siopao with chicken or carne asado, tons of delicate little sweet breads in various shapes. A really yummy place if you’re craving sweet rolls. I will probably go again!

This Bakery has several choices of Filipino Breads n Pork buns. However The food here I got was Terrible, Stale . They make too much product n it sits on the shelves God knows how long. The Service by the Old Phillipio Lady’s there is Soo bad n Terrible that it seems like a joke. The only thing is that you have to get there early to get the Stuff they make fresh,,btw several People just cut in line n rwfr Avoid this place.

The customer service at this location is completely lacking. In fact, it’s downright horrible. For instance, today I bought two packs of siopao. There are 12 siopao altogether. Each pack only came with one tiny container of the sauce. I asked if I could have more. I was given 4. In the other locations, I had always gotten one for each siopao. I asked if I could have more. I was told no. I asked if I could buy them. I was refused. I explained to the cashier that I had 12 siopao altogether and she only gave me 4 sauce. I had to say that 3x! She finally gave me 3 more! She said, “now you have 9!” I guess she was also giving herself credit for the sauces already inside the packs. She acted like I should be grateful! 12 siopao, 9 sauces. I wish I can say that this is just one incident but every time I come here I am always reminded why I prefer the other locations. If not for the fact that I’m always in the area and it’s so convenient, I would rather go to the other locations!

The cooked food is not good. Don’t bother with them. The hot pandesal is always great!

I went to crispy town valerios and we bought this bread they called it cheese pimientos $4.49 each. It looks good but when we open I am so disappointed because the cheese pimiento inside the bread was too little and you cannot even taste the cheese. This is not worth it to buy in this bakery. Do not but this bakery was a cheater. I don’t recommend this bakery
