I tried the bianci Wagu beef pizza and also the prawn gamberi pizza (tomato base)
Cheerful and casual, perfect with friends or on a date. We’ll be back!
After the first batch arrived cold in the middle, I mentioned it to the waitress and asked if they could heat them properly (since underheated rice isn’t exactly famous for its food-safety record). A second batch bravely arrived… equally committed to the “crispy exterior, refrigerated interior” concept.
I was told they can’t make them hot inside or the outside burns. Which raises an interesting philosophical question: if a restaurant can’t make arancini that are hot all the way through… should arancini be on the menu at all?
For context, we also had to pay a card hold fee just to secure the booking, which felt a little surprising given the venue is essentially a takeaway pizza café and isn’t even licensed. When you’re paying a deposit to reserve a table at a place without a bar, you do start to hope the arancini will at least be warm.
Points for consistency though — both batches were identically cold in the middle. Sadly, consistency is usually more appreciated when it involves serving fully cooked food.
⭐️⭐️ for the crunchy exterior. The interior, however, is still defrosting. Pizza was 5 star but unfortunately the experience was bad enough that we will not be returning.
*Edit* I think the only explanation is the Owner’s thermometer reads in Fahrenheit as they were 100% room temperature or cooler, nowhere near the recommended 65 degrees Celsius.
Our party was 3 adults, and 2 kids.
We were on our family trip to Perth, while we were planning we got sent the list of world’s 50 Best Pizza Places and Maestro came up. One could say that our visit was fated.
The pizzas were really really good to say the least. Chef really is a maestro, and we really like that the family were so welcoming and friendly as well!
The dough is so light and tasty, we learned from the friendly lady boss, that it goes through a 48 hour ferment and is 80% hydrated.
We initially started with 2 pizzas but added another salad and pizza.
The atmosphere is not a full on restaurant. You have to walk through the next door restaurant to get to Maestro’s restroom. All extremely minor issues for such wonderful pizza!
A final point, if you want to have some drinks it’s BYOB.
We will definitely be back for another visit, and we honestly can’t wait to come back!
All of the staff were lovely and super welcoming and the atmosphere was super vibrant!
I’ve given 4 stars because of the Tiramisu.
I ordered the tiramisu for dessert and received the dessert in a paper cup.
I was confused as I felt like the presentation could’ve been much better than what it was.
I decided not to eat the tiramisu as I paid $14 for it and wasn’t happy with what I had received. In all honesty it felt like I had just been served dessert from a McDonald’s.
The staff accepted my request and were super polite about the whole thing.
I understand that this is how they serve their tiramisu and it could’ve been the best tiramisu I’d ever tried but for the price and as it came, I felt that it could’ve been presented in a dish at least.
Again, the food, staff and restaurant were beautiful and I definitely recommend this to others!
So light and fluffy and Full of Flavour that’s Just So Good!!!
Fantastic Pizza
Recommend The Maestro & Fun Guy although there’s really no bad choice, they’re All Fantastic. Also Chocolate Brownie with Gelato is absolutely Mint!
Can’t wait to Come Back Again!!!
