So glad this place has reopened! Got the brisket with Mac and cheese and coleslaw. The brisket was just a tab dry but good flavor and the included “burnt skin” pieces was awesome. The Mac and cheese was really good. The coleslaw which appeared creamy style actually has a bit of tanginess to it. Got the sugar cream pie for dessert and was not let down at all.

Visiting from out of town and had a great feast here. The cole slaw, potato salad, and mac and cheese were all good. The turkey and brisket were delicious. The sugar cream pie was amazing. The dining area was clean and the service was on point. Thank you!

Amazing!! I’ve been spoiled by Owensboro, KY BBQ and I was very impressed with the food. I have had pulled pork that was very tough, but not here. Meat was tender and the bourbon blackberry sauce was delightful. Mac & cheese is a two thumbs up. No wifi, but food this good doesn’t need it.

We tried this place today, the brisket was dry and chewy. I paid $9 for sliced brisket, but this doesn’t look sliced but rather the gristle from the bottom of the pan.
We also tried the Mac N Cheese it was good. Staff was friendly.

Best BBQ I’ve ever had! AMAZING food for good prices! Side note: their mac&cheese is to die for!

We were from out of town and very glad we found this. The brisket was amazing, I’m not sure what some of the other reviews were talking about. Cornbread is good, cake like a little dry, but sweet. My husband had the pulled pork said it was very good. The sauces are a bit thin, but I think that’s the style they are going for, more of a vinegar based. Better than City BBQ the chain back in Columbus Ohio where we are from. Mac and cheese was a bit gooey for my taste.

Stopped by at 7 pm on a Friday. Walked in, dismissively told they were closed, and that I should go away. I gather the hand scrawled sign that they are “sold out” trumps the “Open” sign and unlocked doors. Or, you know, the way businesses work; restaurants stock, cook and distribute food during the posted hours, I hear.

Best brisket in town, hands down. Best I’ve ever had. They have specials every day that are also good and they have a small but decent selection of beer on tap. They surprisingly also have a drive through, which can be nice. Make sure you get their early though if you are going for lunch, it gets pretty busy.

We purchased catering for a graduation event that lasted 4 hours. The food was delicious during the entire event from start to finish! The portion sizes were very generous. The food is still being talked about as the best part of our day. Hands down best BBQ!!!

Had a wonderful experience here. Friendly staff, clean facilities and great ambience. The remodel was worth the wait was beautifully done. Now for the meat of the review, the food was spectacular! Tried the brisket on toasted bun with a side of mac and cheese. Brisket was one of the best I have ever had with a perfect harmony of smoky flavor and the house BBQ sauce. I highly recommend checking this place out.
