Found this wonderful coffee shop while in Bloomington and was so impressed! The interior is beautiful and spacious with plenty of seating, making it a great spot to relax or get some work done. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming.
I ordered a latte and a few pastries—the coffee was expertly made and the pastries were noticeably fresh and delicious. They also sell a nice variety of coffee beans to take home. I’ll definitely be making this a mandatory stop every time I’m back in town!

I’m really impressed with Needmore Coffee so far, mostly because it’s the first place that I’ve found a truly good matcha latte in Bloomington, but my latte and pastries were also great and I like the vibe. The baristas are professional and super friendly. They have some very interesting specialty drinks and unique syrup flavours. Eats include a variety of baked goods (with a few vegan and GF options) and a few panini.
I tried a hummingbird latte, which is inspired by hummingbird cake and flavoured with vanilla, pineapple, and banana syrup, walnut bitters, and cinnamon. I got it half sweet but was a little worried that it would still be really sweet with all those flavours, but it didn’t overpower the coffee. The matcha latte with cardamom syrup was, again, legit – the matcha was strong but smooth and the cardamom syrup enhanced the flavour without masking the matcha. I really liked the cap of frothed milk even though it was an iced latte. The two pastries I tried were the vegan lemon poppy seed cake and dark chocolate pumpkin bread – both tasty and fresh. The pumpkin bread was more substantial than it looked at first glance.
It’s a medium-sized shop. They have a number of tables as well as a few chairs by the coffee bar inside, and a few picnic tables outside. It’s comfortable and unpretentious.
Looking forward to coming back for more and relieved to know I can get a good matcha in Bloomington!

Needmore Coffee Roasters is a hidden gem for true coffee lovers in Bloomington. The owner is a passionate coffee enthusiast who sources exceptional beans from around the world and roasts them right in-house. Every cup is fresh, flavorful, and makes you want another.
The shop may be small, but the flavor is anything but. They also offer a selection of house-made baked goods that pair perfectly with your drink. Even better — they use organic beans, which is a huge plus.
The staff are warm and genuinely welcoming. The walls are lined with beautiful local photography and art that you can actually buy, adding a creative, community feel to the space.
If you’re into good coffee and good people, this is the spot. Definitely worth a visit.

I really miss this place! It’s honestly one of the best and most affordable coffee spots in Bloomington. I used to buy their Nicaragua blend coffee grounds, and it’s still one of the best blends I’ve ever had. Their in-house drinks are excellent too—especially the seasonal Campfire Latte, which quickly became one of my favorites. The café itself has a quiet, welcoming vibe that makes it perfect for working, studying, or catching up with a friend. On top of that, they always have a nice selection of muffins and danishes to go with your coffee. Definitely a gem in Bloomington!

Great coffee, most of staffs are sweet and polite. Pretty busy everyday, the only coffee shop with packed customers during school breaks. Really wish if I can own one of the business like this.

Coffee? Excellent. Attitudes of barista: even more excellent. First time having liquid smoke in my latte. Definitely try campfire signature latte. I also enjoyed my caprese panini.

The cafe is almost always quiet, the staff are friendly and obviously pretty skilled / have been there a while, and the coffee is great. Most of their selection of specialty coffee / lattes are never too sweet even when they sound like it which is great, and all the baked goods are fantastic with lots of options. Only issue is sometimes tables go quick but you’re very rarely left without options for too long. Overall wonderful place

My oldest son and I where in Bloomington on vacation when we stopped for our first visit at Needmore. It was a busy Saturday morning, but we didn’t have to wait more than five or ten minutes to get our order. I’ve been drinking coffee for 50+ years and I have been to more coffee shops than I can count. My son likes to get fancy, connoisseur coffee. I’m usually not looking to be impressed. I just want a great tasting cup of coffee, and that’s what I got a Needmore. I’m glad we stopped by.

Needmore is one of the best coffee shops in town (I’d argue *the* best). The atmosphere ranges from a quiet place to read or get a little work done, to a bustling business where it’s good to have a chat with a friend. Everyone here is always so kind, and the coffee is wonderful.
