Onion rings were way overcooked.
Hamburger served with brown lettuce and 1/4 slice of tomato.

I’ve came in here a couple of times last week and now this week. each time it has been miserably hot inside of the store, i felt as if it felt better outside than in. me and my friend came to get ice cream and it was almost completely melted before we could eat it. the workers look sick but still put on a good smile!! this is ridiculous!!

We eat here a couple of times a week & have for a long time. I have nothing but positive things to say about our experiences dining here. The owners & staff are always super friendly. I love that the owners speak when we come in to welcome us – can’t beat that local home town feel when you go here to eat. Food is always good, cooked quickly & at your table in a timely manner. They are definitely my favorite place in town to get shrimp. Great flavor & you can’t beat the price ! There is 5 of us so I like that the menu gives us options for everything from burgers & sandwiches to shrimp & chopped steak platters to grilled chicken & salads.
Something for everyone. Also with 5 of us I appreciate the reasonable prices. You get a sit down meal served up hot to your table for less than a bagged combo at the nearby fast food places. Much better choice in my opinion !!
I believe in supporting our local restaurants and our hometown people so don’t miss out on supporting one of the most reasonably priced restaurants serving up great food with friendly service all around !! Hope to see Hwy 55 and its current owners doing well in Cheraw for many years to come !

Went for lunch a burger $ chicken sandwich. Took almost 40 minutes to get food and fries tasted as if they were fried after some fish were in fryer. Then took forever to check out. Service was very poor and as stated fries were marginally able to digest. What happened? Used to be a great lunch spot. Probably won’t be back.

My husband and I came here for lunch when they were short staffed and only had 2 people working. The service was still fast and friendly, and I can’t say enough good things about the food! My burger was one of the best I’ve ever had. It was clearly hand made and was wonderful! If you want a good burger, this is the place to go!

Until today I would say that we have had only good food and service. My wife and I ordered at the same time this evening and she got her food first. I ordered a burger with gravy fries well my fries were served without the burger and when I asked about the burger it was just being made My wife had ordered a chopped hamburger steak that came right out. She was almost done eating before I even got my burger and then it was burnt and I could not eat it. The waitress was excellent and apologetic.
