My first time at Priya last night, and the food was outstanding! I love a simple chicken curry with some raita, good naan, daal and chai, and I got it all in a wonderful thali. Plus a small dessert of gulab jaman to finish a perfect meal. The naan was literal perfection. Not dry, but moist with a hint of chewiness, tandori taste, thin and perfect for scooping up sauces. I poked my fork into my first piece of chicken, and it literally fell apart, it was so moist. I can’t even remember when I last had such moist chicken. I thought I just got lucky with that first piece, but they were all like that. The flavor was complex and perfectly balanced–not too much ginger, onion or anything else.
I told them to please tell the chef how grateful I am for this amazing food, and he turned out to be sitting down taking a break at a nearby table. He doesn’t speak English, so they translated for me. We need to support restaurants like this! No doubt these are recipes that have been passed down for who knows how long, and they need to survive! There is so much bad food out there with no soul at all. Certainly will not be my last time at Priya, and I will bring guests anytime I get a chance.
I really enjoyed the ambience. I like the tidy, modern feel and warm colors. It’s modern but cozy at the same time.
Excellent experience, and the food is the real-deal traditional Indian.

I come here frequently and their vegetable marsala is absolutely amazing!! They are also one of few who offer a lunch buffet still, and it is awesome and how I found I loved their veggie marsala! Just the right amount of spice and heat!
Only negative is when I get to-go, their naan is undercooked every time and quite doughy, I do not have that problem when I have dined in and the naan is perfect.

The food was very good and delicious. Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and well cooked. The taste was amazing and the portion size was perfect. I really enjoyed the meal and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

Excellent buffet and service – great vegetarian options. The gulag jamun was deliciously soft and chewy, the mango custard was very well put together. Also had freshly prepared Andhra style pickle, which tasted amazing. I believe the meat options were great as well but I am a vegetarian and could not try them.

This is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in Rancho Cordova. All the dishes I tried are delicious. I love the Goat Biriyani the best. The curry dishes are excellent too.
Priya Indian Cuisine also has a very good service and the dining room is comfortable and good looking.

I absolutely love this place. I can’t speak to the authenticity or anything specific because I am not Indian but in terms of flavors, this place is soo good! Our go to is always the pistachio curry and the assorted pakora as an appetizer. We also tried saag paneer which did not disappoint. I love getting the thali option because all the side dishes are delicious! Would love to go and try their lunch buffet just to try more things!

The buffet is fantastic, some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. The wait staff are very courteous and kept the buffet open longer for me to get another plate. Every dish was well made, chai is great, and the lemon rice is very good and unique

I had their lunch buffet and I really liked it! Indian food lunch buffets have become rarer especially after the pandemic so this was a fantastic surprise. It’s a pretty good deal for $21 (at the time of this review) especially if you don’t eat breakfast like myself.
I found everything delicious. The saag paneer was creamy, flavorful, and had a good paneer to sauce ratio. The goat curry was tender and tasty. I also loved the tandoori chicken and the butter chicken.
I’d definitely come back to try more dishes!

The food was just ok but the service was lacking. Had to ask for our used plates to be taken away. Only offered a refill on water once. This was a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was not busy. Most concerning was the slippery floors. It was a hazard and should be addressed before someone gets hurt.
Also there were a lot of food splatters on the wall next to our table. It would be great to have staff that cared enough to clean the walls and the floors.

Every time my boyfriend and I come here we leave satisfied and full. I feel like I’m being spoiled. Part of me wants to keep this a secret but I wanna drive business and keep this moving forward so I tell everyone now
