Me and my friends went to this restaurant last night and Jay was a great host and made sure our pizza came out with perfection. We really enjoyed the paneer tikka pizza overall and second favorite was the achari pizza. The butter paneer pizza was pretty good too, it had a little sweet and tangy side to it which we enjoyed as well. Highly recommended spot to check out!

10/10 – absolutely loved it! The pizza was phenomenal: perfectly cooked crust, great balance of sauce and cheese, and clearly made with quality ingredients. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Easily one of the best pizzas I’ve had in the area. The paneer pizza was my personal favorite. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending Rudy’s to family and friends!

I ordered gnocchi pomodoro based off the picture online. I love gnocchi and unfortunately can not have red sauce so the dish looked perfect! When it arrived it was just gnocchi in tomatoe sauce. Nothing like this pic. I called and explained the situation, the picture and asked for an email to send the pics to for their reference and the young lady would not provide one but said she would let the owner know. They did not offer a substitution. She just kept telling me that the gnocchi only comes one way and it’s in red sauce. I told her “i guess I’ll just eat the side salad for dinner and not what I paid for” she said okay, have a good night. Very bad experience. Do NOT recommend. Pics below of expected dish then what was delivered. Completely different!!!

We have been coming to Rudy’s Italian Bistro in Newark for years and the food is always solid. Sherry is phenomenal and a major reason we keep coming back. The service and food are consistently on point.
However, the only high chair in the restaurant is not safe. The strap is literally tied together rather than functioning the way it is supposed to, you cannot adjust it and the buckle does not stay buckled. That is a clear safety issue and a liability waiting to happen if someone puts their child in it assuming it is secure.
We love this place and want to keep coming back, but that high chair needs to be replaced immediately. Everything else is great, but this is a basic safety fix that should not be ignored.

Rudy’s food hasn’t been good in a long time every since they got new owners it just been nasty. I haven’t ordered from them in a while but today I didn’t feel like cooking. And I regret ordering. The food is overly greasy as if they just dumped it from the oil to a brown bag which is so tacky to put hot food in and server it like this. The onions rings are burnt and nasty the fries are tasteless and burnt. The broccoli bits are good I have even tried the cheese yet I lost my appetite looking at the load of grease on the bag and all the outside wrapping of the food was wet like they packed it in a rain storm that’s weird.

So… Who knew? We had no idea this gem was hidden right beside the supermarket we frequent. Very low key establishment but the food is great, the service is great and it’s convenient. The veggie grinder became vegan by removing the cheese and yummy when they added sauce. Penne caprese made the husband smile. Broccoli rabe was great. Tasty and tender. Glad we found it. Well be back.

Pizza is not good at all! Bluh!! Go to Mario’s at 896 and 95 for the best pizza in the area. I will never go to Rudy’s for pizza again. Mozz sticks are good though. Its so bad, i had to through it away!!

Yummy!!! Thank you, my white pizza was great! Ricotta evenly spread (hate whens it’s smothered on there) and the Buffalo sauce on our wings is my fav!
