Great experience! Food was Awesome and Tasty! Comfy and relaxed atmosphere, but still upscale and clean. Craft beers, Big Wolf sandwich platter, Shrimp and Avocado Salad with steak added, all started off with the hot crab dip (no pic due to the fact it was so yummy smelling we dug in immediately). Had Casey as a server, and she did an excellent job. All in all, a wonderful dinner and I will be back!

Comfortable, visually stimulating seating. The plates looked very pretty coming to us however the Rueben and the pork quesadillas were very greasy. The Smoked Beef on wick was wonderful. Nice kick for the horseradish as well. It was a nice lunch. I’ll go back. ❤️

Pub grub. A nice change with smoked roast beef on kimmelweck. A tasty sandwhich (just ask for aus jus if you like dunk) served on a finely salted roll with Caraway seeds . Hand cut think fries were very good and Mac n cheese was creamy with only a few pieces of tomato and peppers. There’s a separate bar room ,dining room and back room. The patio will be opening soon and there’s a volleyball ball court out back too. They had several draft beers to choose from.

Very nice place. I liked the outdoor patio for lunch and am excited to go back after 5 for the outside patio bar section. Bonus you can bring your dog to the outside bar patio after 5! The food was pretty average food. We didn’t get too adventurous but their homemade fries are amazing and the homemade mac and cheese is pretty good too! The wait staff was very nice and quick.

Excellent Fish Fry, Wonderful Service! This was this first time I have eaten at American Grill for dinner. Several years ago I had lunch here and remember it was very tasty. We both had the fish fry and it was incredible! Dare I say it was the best fish fry I have ever had. The fish was tasty and the beer batter crunchy and not at all greasy. The sides were just right. The service we quick and friendly (as were all the employees). Good Job! We will definitely be back!

This two star rating is based on two recent visits. In my first visit, everything went well. Service was decent, food is good although in my opinion a little pricey for what you get.
My most recent visit also started out fairly well. Food was good to start. However about 10 minutes into our visit about half a dozen flies started pestering us. After about 10 minutes of it we had enough and told our waiter.
Although this seems to be a one-off, what I was a but disappointed in was the response of the management. We got what I believe were sincere apologies but I think an expensive restaurant should stand behind the cleanliness of their establishment. Eventually they gave us 15% off the bill but I felt this was a slap in the face for the fact that our dinner was ruined by the pests.
So the two stars are an average of a 3.5 for the first time we went and a 0 for the most recent.

Really nice place. Friendly, good service, great food. The chicken teriyaki stir fry is amazing! The volcano shrimp appetizer is served in a generous portion and gives a little surprise”kick” after eating it. Very good. Always pleased with food and dining experience here.

We came here a few months ago. I was part of 20 something people from a running group that attended for dinner and drinks. Everyone LOVED the food. The staff was nice for the most part, but I thought the bartenders were a little snobby. The atmosphere is nice and we liked that the bar had ample seating.
I’ll definitely go here again, it’s worth the trip out to East Aurora.

I’m giving this a 4 just for the food quality which was delicious but the bar atmosphere took away from the dining experience, in my opinion. We were seated in the dining room near the bar entrance and it was loud and frankly kind of smelly..you know that barroom smell I’m talking about. The burgers were really great though I was just expecting a different atmosphere.
