We being eating here twice so far and we are very satisfied with the food. The portion and the price are just right for us. And our children love their vermicelli noodle soup. So far we tried tom yum fry rice, pork eggplant sambal, noodles salad, lemon salad and sweet hot tea ( a must try). Sorry we were too hungry and forgot to take some of the pictures of the food we ordered. We are happy to support local family business as well as enjoy the good food

Exceptional food with reasonable prices! Varieties of mouth watering Asian and Burmese food. Atmosphere is cosy with nice decorations. My favourites so far are Burmese tea, papaya salad and Hawaiian Pizza. Will be there often.

Today 26/06, I did phone order to pick up, my order was ready when I arrived there. very satisfied with dry chili pork with rice. Just remembered to take photo at the end

Fourth time visiting this place! I enjoyed the fried rice (special fried rice) the most, followed by honey fried chicken, and peri peri chicken pizza! The service by the staff is also amazing x staff are very attentive to customers requests. There is a variety of Burmese food options to choose from. The price of the foods are also very reasonable. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also very nice although it can be slightly busy during the weekend.

I always come for this restaurant for authentic Burmese food. Their Nan G Thote is a must, never failed me.
Unfortunately, Kyay Oo is not as tasty as I wish it would be, the broth tastes like water and it’s just so blend. We got takeaways for beef curry, pork ribs and fried anchovies. Fried anchovies is hands down the best! Pork ribs is excellent but beef curry seems like it was cooked days before. We could taste the sourness from the meat and the funky smell from the curry. I really wish they could fix these issues, as there are very few Burmese restaurants in Melbourne and I do want to support every each of them.

A hidden gem! Myself, my son and my mother ate in early on a Saturday evening. In our opinion, each meal was 5 star quality, reasonably priced, and serves that were “just enough without being too much”. By comparison to other similar local cuisines, the food was fresh, light and tasty. It seemed to be a family business with most of the family seated at the tables at the front – similar to Asian Street and the Hoppers Crossing shops. To me, 100% warm and friendly – maybe to others, a little awkward. There was a TV playing a religious channel with moderate volume which we found weird but not off putting. It had been warm day so the restaurant was a little stuffy and could have used a circulation fan. The restaurant was clean, well set out, and well stocked. Service was by a young female member of the family. Having 3 kids myself I can say she did an excellent job, even with the obvious shyness. Orders were confirmed, then double checked as there was a selection of set/group and individual menus – slightly confusing but helpful for group bookings. We ended up ordering from 3 different menus with one costing slightly more but were catered for without issue. I see a few “delivery” and “take-away” order reviews were not 100%, but hey, they are much better than a McD/KF. order. This is a place to go out, sit down, have a meal, and leave happy knowing you will be back again and again, we will. UPDATE: We visited again at a busier time and must admit, the food quality had slipped unfortunately…. quality of meats was questionable, everything else was still good.
