I’ve been a big fan of this little place since my first visit. Their steak tacos, shrimp nachos and guacamole are excellent! Trying the pork tamales today and I am so happy I did…they are outstanding. I highly recommend Taqueria Lolita whenever you’re in Lena…great food, good size portions and very friendly owners.

This was some of the best, authentic Mexican food I have had in a long time. Their street tacos put any restaurant in freeport to shame! Their location is not idea (inside spirit liquors) but the food, service and workers are top notch. 6 tacos and 2 sides of rice took 10 minutes to get ready, and comes with chips and salsa. This place can’t be beat, and needs to be more well known!!! Give it a try, and you won’t regret it.

Great authentic mexican food in a gas station/liquor store/slots casino. We went to Spirit for something else and saw a sign in the back on their first day and ordered food on the fly; now we order take out at least once a week, usually twice since it’s not too expensive and we can sometimes get more than one meal out of the portions. Everything we’ve tried has been so yummy and filling. You will not be left hungry, that’s for sure. Personal faves are the steak tacos and steak nachos. My boyfriend loves their steak tacos too, but orders the steak quesadilla most frequently.

Delicious. NOWHERE for miles and miles compares to the outstanding food I bought tonight. The tripas taco is divine, the fajitas burrito is unbelievable. What a pleasure to eat, I cannot wait to try their torta and the Cuban torta. We must not fail this humble shack that’s tucked in the corner nestled in between beer coolers.
