I had to take a moment to write about Taqueria Los Macetes. What a wonderful food truck. I honestly haven’t felt this type of hospitality in a long time and especially not from a food truck.
From the moment you walk up, you can feel that this isn’t just a business it’s a family. Genuine people who truly love what they’re doing and really care about their customers. That kind of passion is rare today.
You can clearly tell it’s family run, and seeing their 84 year old father working alongside them was something special. In the Spanish community, that means a lot tradition, hard work, unity, and pride all in one.
The food was incredible fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The hospitality was so good that I even ordered and paid for food in advance for tomorrow. That should tell you everything.
If you’re looking for a place to wind down, grab amazing food, and feel like you’ve stepped somewhere else for a bit, go check them out. You won’t regret it.

The machetes are unreal—crispy on the outside, loaded on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell they don’t cut corners here. The staff is friendly and welcoming, service is quick, and the vibe feels like a true neighborhood gem. Prices are fair for the quality and amount of food you get, which is rare these days. We absolutely loved it. The lengua tacos are hands down the best we have ever had. They were tender, full of flavor, and perfectly prepared. The quesadillas were also delicious and very well filled. The service was fast and friendly, and everything came out fresh and hot. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!
