The latte tasted a bit different from the vanilla lattes I usually drink — sweeter, with a smooth honey-like flavor. The rich vanilla aroma blended perfectly with the coffee, making each sip delightful.
The scone was crispy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside, with a deep buttery flavor that made it very satisfying. It paired perfectly with the latte.
The drinks here are not only delicious but also incredibly creative. I tried the strawberry milk cold brew and it was refreshing and beautifully presented. The baristas are friendly, and the space is modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. You can tell that the owners put a lot of heart into every detail — from the coffee to the interior.
Their pastries are also amazing — fresh, flavorful, and made in-house. Whether you’re grabbing a quick latte or sitting down to work or chat, this place is a gem in downtown Troy. Highly recommend!
Every time I travel I search out the best artisanal coffee of the place I’ve visiting and my number 1 spot in the world so far is the legendary Ministry of Roasters in Chiang Mai, Thailand, but this delightful spot in my hometown of Troy is the closest I’ve found to MoR in the US. What a delight to find this place! My wife and I visited while perusing shops along River Street and almost missed it but popped in and both enjoyed a different blend of coffee. They were expertly crafted and complimented with an excellent green tea as a palette cleanser. Their espresso drinks sounded excellent too, and I’ll be returning to try the popcorn latte sometime!
Vibes were great too. Chill. Classy. But not pretentious. Great tunes and good privacy for the booths.
This was my go-to spot for a place to read a book and just relax a little bit or just catch up with a friend.
The prices are to be expected these days, but if you take in everything else then in my opinion it is absolutely worth it.
Highly recommended!!
We come here because the ambiance is well designed and the leather couch. Luckily we got here super early and the window seats are open. The town is so cute and quiet for a weekend getaway.
I can tell the owners put a lot of thought into this place with little touches. There are a lot of tasteful green color. My maybe future cafe would totally have their vibe.
Overall a great place for your first cup to just chill and relax.
We sampled many offerings from the menu. The velvety vanilla citrus spice latte was comfort in a cup on a raw, blustery day. My family especially enjoyed the warm spices of the horchata latte, and the delicate sweetness of the saffron latte. And the creative cold brews offered bold and unexpected flavors.
It’s no surprise then that the baristas are winning international competitions and acclaim.
