We went to the original pancake house for valentines breakfast however it was a two hour wait. I remember seeing this place on the way to silver Falls and noted there hours were mostly breakfast and lunch, a small diner in a small town we drove 30 min to it as we were going antique shopping so it was a tad bit closer, anyway we were so happy with the decision, the service the food and atmosphere where 10 star, this app only lets me do 5 but this place is a hidden gym, worthy of guy pierce dinner dives. What a hidden secret, we got right in and our food was fast and the staff was attentive to all of.our needs. Way togo Tammy Ds you have it all. Can’t wait to come back !!

I was so hungry. I have been wanting to stop and eat here for months but they are a breakfast and lunch restaurant and I have always been late when I drive by. There are only two restaurants in town and I didn’t want Mexican. The menu was typical breakfast and lunch fare and there was a child/Senior menu which I was privileged enough to order from. The waitress stated that they had Clam chowder with Bacon and it was homemade so how can you go wrong. I got the Cheeseburger with Tater Tots and a cup of the Chowder. And a Pepsi to wash it down with. An all American Lunch. And for the first time in years there was an actual news paper to read while I ate my lunch. She brought me the Pepsi which had an odd flavor to it. Enough so that I couldn’t drink it. She brought me another one with the same result. So I requested Ice water and it had the same musty taste. After a discussion it seems that it may be with the town’s water supply. I thought maybe my taste buds were just off today. They have a cooler with canned/bottled drinks. Next visit I will ask for a glass full of ice and get a drink from the cooler. My food was delivered and was perfectly fine. The bun was homemade and awesome. The burger tasted good. The tots were as expected and crispy. The chowder was excellent. I was completely satisfied and full. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The building was clean and orderly. After I was completely done I went back out front and discovered that they also sold their own baked goods. Good thing I was full !!! But I still escaped with a giant nasty looking cinnamon roll that must have a calorie count into the 1000’s. I enjoyed my meal here and will be back given the opportunity.

This is an excellent quintessential small town roadside diner. It is a very comfortable welcoming space and the staff were friendly. We had a quick breakfast here on a drive and everything was very good especially the country potatoes. They are homemade with peppers and seasoned and cooked perfectly.

Wonderful little Cafe in Mulino. Driving by for seven years until today. Small but quaint. Homemade biscuits, everything is fresh . Glad we stopped.

Quality breakfast. Haven’t tried anything else there yet, but I definitely plan on trying more and recommending this spot.

The gravy and hollandaise sauce were quite good.

I really enjoyed the fact that they didn’t pre salt the food. I always prefer to salt my food to taste.

It can get pretty busy, but the wait isn’t too long.

After reading another review that mentions dog-friendly seating, we brought our two small pups. Yes, there are three picnic tables outside but there is no shade and I would not call it dog friendly. I asked for a bowl of water for the pups when we placed our order. Ours were brought out, nothing for the dogs, so I placed my water cup on the ground for them. I sat without a drink for 10 minutes until another server came to check on us.

I wish I could say the food made up for the experience. The best cinnamon roll is HANDS DOWN the best we’ve ever had and it’s served warm with the perfect amount of icing. The English muffins are also homemade and delicious. That said, the rest of breakfast was less than stellar. Both omelettes were covered with and sitting in a pool of oil to the point that my veggie omelette dish (the one menu item without meat) was basically inedible.

It never feels good to leave a bad review for a small business, but I’m writing this “average” rating as a caution for anyone else who may be planning their first visit here. Go on a cloudy day, bring your own dog bowl/water, lower your expectations for service, ask them to go lightly on the oil, and hopefully you’ll have a better experience than I did.

We love Tammy D’s! This family is such an important part of the community. Their food nourishes the soul and their friendship nourishes the community.. Their gravy Is what dreams are made of…poured over their country potatoes, warm-flaky biscuits, or their perfectly tender country fried steak that has the perfect amount of crispy breading. The weight staff is friendly, welcoming and you just lfeel ike you’re visiting a dear friend’s home, or your mom‘s kitchen

It’s honestly hard to pick a favorite menu item here. Their eggs Benedict is made with homemade English muffins, made from scratch hollandaise sauce and a perfectly poached egg. I am especially fond of their smoked salmon Benedict.

Whenever we go, my kids also have a hard time choosing so my little girls typically pick their smiley face pancake with seasonal fresh fruit, and a side of biscuits and gravy that they split between each other so they can have both a sweet and a savory feast.

if you are considering lunch, they have a piled high club sandwich with darn tasty french fries and their burgers are absolute perfection on a homemade bun.

don’t forget to peruse their fresh made bakery items on your way out. Some of our favorites are the peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, lemon bars, and Their chocolate coconut almond bars. We also order ahead around Christmas and make sure to take home their cinnamon rolls as a treat Christmas morning. or take home, one of their homemade pumpkin cream, cheese rolls if you are looking for an unforgettable taste of fall.

If you haven’t ever tried Tammy D’s, add it to your bucket list. You won’t regret becoming part of the Tammy’ D’s family ❤️❤️❤️

This place is a true gem. I’m really glad we found it.

Everything is made from scratch from the gravy to the biscuits, to the bread, down to the breading for the chicken fried steak. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The food took about 20 minutes to arrive after ordering.

We will be back.
