This has my new favorite Thai restaurant in the bay!

Their dishes are absolutely phenomenal and they do use real Thai basil in a few of their dishes!

Notable dishes are their kow soi duck, anything with the pork belly, and their wings of kapow for me. I have truly enjoyed every dish here and nothing has disappointed me so far. The Kow Soi though I think is special. I haven’t had the opportunity to enjoy Kow Soi often and most of the time, I feel like it’s too soupy for my preference. I love that they separate the curry from the noodles so you can choose how much you want!

Their dishes are well priced and portions are good. Between two people, I normally get two entrees and an appetizer to share and there’s leftovers.

The restaurant itself is not too big with a few tables that can sit 4-6 people and a few that seat 2. They also have online ordering for easy takeout.

Highly recommend, trying them out for thai food!

Wonderful addition to the area, there was a wait on the weekend but despite being busy service remained very friendly. Every thing we had was delicious & very fresh. The wings were super tasty in particular & noodle dishes.

I went with my family, which included my mom, brother, and our kids. The 6 of us spent almost $240, which includes double tips. I think they charge us an automatic tip when there are 5 or more people in a group. But I accidentally and additionally tip 7% more. Therefore, you can conclude that this is a rather expensive and high-end restaurant in Union City. See the price per plate listed below.

With that being said the food was great. My brother and I, both 50+ years old, gave it a rating between 7/10 and 9/10, with 5 being okay. By the way, we are Thai.

The following is what we ordered, ordered by the best to the least favorite, but still good.. yes 7/10 is good.

1. The CREAMY SALTED EGG SQUID $26
2. PAD KEE MAO $18
6. KA-POW ‘SIRLOIN’ BASIL FRIED RICE $34
4. WING OF KAPOW $15
3. GUI CHAI THOD (CHIVE CAKES STICK) $9
7. KHAO MOO DANG MOO GROB $20
5. KOW SOI DUCK $28
8. 4 cups of white rice $9
9. One green tea drink ??

The restaurant was clean and fresh-looking. They give you a real-size spoon and fork, which is the way the Thai people eat their food. Oh yes, they are also golden. The waiter was nice, and the food came out at a reasonable pace. We went on a Saturday at noon, and the place was packed by 12:30.

I will be back on a special occasion. I recommend this place.

We got to try this this week for lunch and we really enjoyed it. I saw it on Instagram and the instagrammer made such a great video highlighting their various dishes and we bookmarked it!

We had the pad Thai and red curry. The flavors were delicious, were served by the owners and they were a pleasure to chat with. We look forward to coming back and trying other dishes there!

Tried the Chive Cakes, Green Thai Tea, Ka Pow with Tofu.
Chive cakes were very crispy and the sauce was also tasty.
Green Thai Tea was medium sweet and the flavor was also good.
Ka Pow is one of the must try of this place. It had good quantity of tofu. And the garlic flavor was amazing with a little spiciness.

Since I been living here in the USA over ten years this is my first time that to have the Thai restaurant used real Thai basil leafs put in spicy basil dish, thai name called (KAPOW) and the food is taste so good like real authentic Thai food (made me feel like home.) , great service, good drinks, good location (easy to find parking) ,the price is reasonable , and good music. I recommend that it’s a good place to try out with all spacial authentic Thai dishes.

The fried food isn’t too oily. I ordered the “crispy pork belly” and “Thai salad”. The pork belly was crazy good. I was underwhelmed by the portion even though the menu warns: “SMALL BITES”. If you have spare money, try the pork belly, the center has a perfect fatty bite and the crunchy skin is satisfying.
Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend the Thai salad since it’s peanut sauce with romaine lettuce, tofu, and random toppings. It’s definitely a make it yourself dish but I finished most of it and, again, the fried tofu is not too greasy yet retains nice texture.

When the restaurant is full, the space is small and there’s not much stopping sound waves so it becomes difficult to hold a conversation while waiting for your food or whatnot.

The restaurant is plagued with a popular boba shop as its neighbor so the line wraps in front of the door and if you’re lucky you’ll catch the owner giving the understandable death stare.

We took our mom here for her birthday. There was aboit a half hour wait because it’s first time, first serve basis; no reservations. The restaurant is small with limited seating, but very modern and comfortable. My brother had mentioned the restaurant had just opened relatively recently so it was insanely busy.

The staff took our orders while we were waiting for our table. We ordered the following:

Papaya salad
Pad Kee Mao with tofu
Pad Thai with beef
Gang Karee with roasted pork belly
Angel wings
Chicken satay
Crab fried rice
Goong Karee

The angel wings were definitely one of the highlights, but I thoroughly enjoyed my crab fried rice; it actually came with lumps of real crab meat. My wife really enjoy her pad kee mao and liked that it was actually spicy for once compared to the other places we visited. Also we really liked that they used super fresh rice noodles. They had this super delicate glassy texture. Everyone else enjoyed their dishes and I’m highly impressed with this Thai restaurant.

I definitely recommend anyone who loves authentic Thai food to give this place a visit. The hype is real and the staff works hard to provide a enjoyable dining experience.

I ordered Tom Kha and Pad Kee Mao takeout. The Tom Kha was delightfully herbaceous and really comforting. Some places you go. It literally just tastes like coconut milk but this is definitely not the case here. The noodles were also very delicious and use of herbs again was awesome.

I picked up my order, but the space is really cute and the staff was really friendly and helpful. They were very, very accommodating even though I placed my order for the wrong time.
