We happened to be in Auburn on a cold and a rainy day, so we wanted some hot soup after a round of golf. Not cheap even for AL price.
We didn’t really expect much in a college town but it turned out to be pretty legit.
Banchan – really good. Love the fish cakes. We asked for more but they said they ran out. So they never came back to our table again, not even to refill our tea and water cups after that.
Stew: I think it is called Gopchang Changol or something like that. It usually got beef tripes, tofu, veggies, something, then intestines. This one got tofu and lots of intestines, flavored was good but way too much intestines, I like a mixed of stuffs. We always get udon in a stew, not this place. Not what I was expected. Big portion though so we took the leftovers, grabbed some tofu from Walmart and udon, and made another batch the next day.
Fried chicken (both original and spicy) – not bad.
Galbi (short ribs) – pretty good
Tteokbokki- not bad

Korean food as it should be. Simple, flavorful, and delicious. The galbi and bibimbap are out of this world.
The menu can be daunting at first glance, but they’ll happy help you navigate it. And the owner was walking around making sure everything is perfect.

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants, but unfortunately not anymore after our last visit. We loved their galbi and bone soup in the past. This time, the food was awful. The galbi was nothing like before—it used to be smoky, flavorful, and juicy, but it was tough and bland.
I ordered the spicy chicken tang, and it was overwhelmingly spicy and tasted mostly like gochujang, without much depth of flavor. I’m not sure what changed—whether it was the cook or the ingredients—but something was definitely different.
We’re not sure if we’ll try this place again. It was a very disappointing visit.

My daughters and I have been coming here for years whenever we’re craving genuinely good Korean food, especially kimchi. Every time we come the servers are always kind and the food is always delicious and delivered in a timely manner. The waiters are very attentive of our needs and have good recommendations for indecisive customers. The owner is very concerned about customer satisfaction and checks on them to make sure they’re being treated appropriately and are pleased with the food. Easily the best service in town, and I will always recommend Jin’s to another person.

Like stepping into Korea, instantly I was taken back to my time in Korea. The buzz in the area, the laughter of friends sharing drinks, the decor quirky but normal for a korean resatraunt, the smells powerful and mouth-watering, and it only got better. If you aren’t interested in true authentic Korean food, go to the hot pot down the street because this is NOT the place for you (your bad reviews because you are used to bland or super sugar loaded american chinese are not comparable).
My soup was piping hot, beautiful clear broth, not greasy or fatty, mild savory beefy flavour and the beef was very tender. The spicey chicken kabobs were good, on the tougher side from the glaze and grill but very flavourful and perfect with rice. Wish I lived closer, ill have to make this a roadtrip stop in the future.

you guys. this place was INCREDIBLE for a traditional korean restaurant in the middle of ALABAMA. best in town fr <3 the cook came up to our table while we were eating, and she was so sweet. I eat a lot of korean food bc my roommate and bestie moved here from Korea when she was 6, and we love to go out to eat korean food on atlanta. This is a great traditional place to get some great quality Korean food and hit your craving :) And it came out so fast! Service was great as well, and honestly pretty traditional I totally recommend this place, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Auburn!
(we ordered 육개장, 김치전, 돌솥 비빔밥, 떡볶이, 제육볶음, 불고기) all so good

Very bad went up there to get a order for grub hub and they didn’t even allow me to go in made me wait outside for them to go in and check if they had the order and then when they walked back out I was told that they don’t know who sent me so they couldn’t get me the order and told me to leave I may have wanted to make an order and they wouldn’t even allow me in the building and every one on staff was outside smoking and drinking and the service is shit but who ever owns this needs to do better or higher new people and maybe you could get somewhere in life but if I’m not mistaken you are not suppose to drink on a job when these people got all up in my face that’s all I smelt is beer and it wasn’t pleasant I hope if you go here you have a more pleasant experience than I did and I will be notifying the labor bird thank you very much and have a nice day

I have been here a lot of times recently! Which means that I tried various menus here!
And the picture that I provided is the best menu so far.
1️⃣ Sundubu Jjigae is not too spicy and not too mild and it has good flavor.
2️⃣ Bossam is good toooo!!
I tried different restaurants Bossam but this restaurant Bossam is the best because they have their own flavor.
3️⃣ Chicken Skews was really superior too!
4️⃣ 고니탕 (Goni Tang), was nothing short of spectacular. The broth was rich and aromatic, with a complexity that spoke of hours of careful simmering. The meat was tender, falling off the bone effortlessly, and paired perfectly with their homemade kimchi, which added just the right amount of spice and tanginess.
I wish I could describe food better

Typical Korean restaurant in small town – not the nicest place inside or outside, but the food is good. Multiple versions of the menus were confusing, but we got yukhoejang (5/5) and bibimbap (5/5). Also ordered fried mandu (5/5). My friend was having Korean food for the first time and enjoyed the experience. Lots of Korean patrons inside and doing takeout, and that’s always a good sign!
