I went in here with a small group and we were treated very well. We were kind of loud, but the establishment did not hush us or correct us. We had a good time. We had good food. We had a few drinks, and everything was wonderful. Stop on in for a good time, anytime, with reasonable prices.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. The owner’s son treated multiple tables as an inconvenience and was blatantly disrespectful. Quote, “WHAT do you want?!! Your server left and isn’t here anymore. Here is your check!” This was after we waited 30 minutes for someone to find our server. No drink refills or to go boxes. Just a check thrown at us, literally, and a mouthy entitled slob. It is really a shame because the food was outstanding and our original server was delightful.

Visited this establishment on August 21st 2019 at 3 p.m. . The restaurant was near empty which was not alarming because it was late in the afternoon. There was less than 10 patrons present. The waiter who seated us was not very welcoming, he set us at the table and asked us what we wanted to drink and we told him water. I had to ask him to bring his chips and salsa and the chips were quite stale. He brought us menus that didn’t appear to have very many prices on them, I ended up getting a tamale dinner after asking him the price of the tamales which apparently are piecemealed together, my husband got the cheese enchiladas. While the food was passable for Oklahoma Mexican food it was the service that was poor. We ended up spending $23 for two meals at lunch with water and lackluster service. It is way overpriced for the quality of food and the service is marginal at best. My advice to anyone eating at this establishment is to get an itemized copy of your receipt because I do not believe that we paid over $11 for what we had for lunch each in fact he told me my tamale dinner was $8.65 and I know my husband’s enchilada plate could not have been much more. Sometimes no matter how passable the food is if the service is rotten it leaves a bad taste in the customers mouth such as the case today.

The staff is very prompt to serve you, the environment is clean and the food is great!
I’m big on chips and salsa and this is the first time in a while that I haven’t had to add salt to either thing.
It’s a great place to come for lunch or dinner with friends or family!

Fajita salad was the best salad I’ve ever eaten in my 55 year life. Fantastic! The shrimp soup was unbelievably awesome too. I wish you had a location in Plano TX, I’d eat here every day. Great job.

I wanted to give 5 stars because they serve Amazing food! Fresh and delicious. The salsa is on point and the Fajita Nachos are the best nachos I’ve ever had! I travel here from Texas occasionally and I always get excited to eat here. This time we did not get good service. Wrong order & charged for things mentioned in the description of the food. Will come again but watch closely for inaccuracies.

Always a pleasure to come here! Husband and I love sitting in the back Booth of the cantina and enjoy being alone. Great food that will fill you up for a good price! Make sure you get a jumbo mango margarita!

This is authentic Mexican with plenty of Tex Mex options. Server was very prompt and attentive and had no problem taking an order for a dish that wasn’t on the menu (although the menu was pretty lengthy, so it might have been). Salsa was a little on the sweet side, but the rest of our meal was top notch. We’ll be coming back!

This is a small chain of restaurants in North Texas. We’ve eaten at their Gainesville, TX location many times & really like it, but this was our first time at this location. I was not as impressed although the food that I had was delicious. First, the waiter misunderstood my order & instead of bringing me one fajita taco as I had requested, he brought me a whole order of fajitas. I didn’t want to make a big deal since I figured I could eat the leftovers later. However, I specifically ordered Corn tortillas (in Spanish, to be sure I was understood) & yet I was initially brought Flour tortillas. He eventually brought me some corn ones, but, tired of waiting, I’d begun eating using the corn tortilla chips that were leftover from the basket initially placed on the table when we sat down. The restaurant wasn’t that busy that it should have taken him as long as it did. The corn tortillas that he did eventually bring me were the store bought white corn kind that are not very good or authentic, & are usually very thin & mushy & tear easily. I decided the chips were the better option at that point.
My husband had ordered a chicken with green sauce dish that he really enjoyed at first, but it gave him really bad indigestion that kept him awake pretty much all night because he didn’t have & couldn’t find any antacids at the hotel due to the very late hour.
I was fortunate not to suffer the indigestion but after the tortillas fiasco, I don’t think I’ll be going back anytime soon – at least to this location.
