I came here for the first time I was craving tacos. Menu and prices look good but what I was served was chopped slim Jim. I was very disgusted very disappointed. The only thing authentic were the jarrito drinks. Never coming back. The latin lady was nice

Just a short walk from Wills Eye Hospital. Well worth it! Food prepared to order and Pete E even made me shrimp tacos during breakfast hours. So good, so fresh, yum. Excellent balance of all ingredients in my 3 soft shell tacos. Lettuce, tomatoes, mild salsa, guacamole, cheese, sour cream and shrimp. I had a Coke bottle of soda, not can. Service excellent and atmosphere of the restaurant is very mellow and welcoming. Even gave me a reusable shopping bag, nice. Took a picture of customers food to go, with her permission, of course.

I should’ve turned around when no one said hello when I walked in. The only person who seemed to be nice was the lady.
First time ever walking into a food joint and didn’t smell food. The lack of seasoning, on everything, explains it all! The BLANDEST “Mexican Food” I’ve ever had! $17.90 for a plastic container full of unseasoned trash! A waste of money, and my 30 minute lunch.

They couldn’t fold the burrito properly. I got one to go and after I unwrapped the tin foil it just fell apart. The chicken tastes odd as if it’s try or not fresh. The cashier took the burrito, put it in a brown bag and slammed it down…..thanks. The napkin/ utensils area was dirty.

I’ve had authentic Mexican tacos before, and this place is a clear step above Chipotle in both flavor and overall quality. The tacos are absolutely outstanding, made with fresh ingredients that really shine in every bite.
The barbacoa is hands-down my favorite—perfectly spiced, rich, and incredibly flavorful… omg, it’s so good. The chicken is also very good, but the barbacoa is on another level.
What truly elevates the experience is the service. The owner is often present, creating a warm, personal, and welcoming atmosphere.
Everyone greets you with a genuine smile, and even during the busy lunch rush, the line moves quickly and efficiently.

Nice clean spot. Food is really good and fresh. It felt like I was eating straight from someone’s kitchen. The serving size was healthy. Friendly staff. It gets very crowded during lunch hours on the weekdays. Limited off street metered parking available. Cash, credit and “level-up” are accepted as forms of payments. You select what goes in your bowl or burrito. Price is fairly reasonable for that district. If you’re in the area, check them out. Bon appétit!

I enjoy breakfast burritos, and wanted so badly for El Fuego to be my regular breakfast place as it’s a few blocks from my work. El Fuego’s food is good, with good portions. I have only gotten their breakfast burritos.
Getting the food is my challenge. I have been now four times at 9am when it opens, without it being open. Ive waited 15 minutes which I would consider reasonable and nothing—lights were off.
Today, I was there at 9 and was told they would open soon, but only for lunch—no breakfast.
Also today, I found another place—Telula’s Daily, just around the corner that does a breakfast burrito. While not as good, it’s going to have to be my new regular breakfast place.

How do you mess up a clear order? I asked for black beans , pepper sour cream and pico de gallo…. I pick up and get office and open it up and shocked by the contents. I call them back to see what happened and they tell me it dont come with anything but meat and lettuce and cheese. I asked then why does online give u these options? He said “you want your refund or not?” Last time going here. And the sad part is they did my order fine the week before and week before that….Wtf…. Smh only gave em 2 stars because of they homemade guacamole and chips.

Basically a hole in the wall. But nice vibe; area; and yummy burrito bowl. I got a carnitas bowl with lettuce, guac, mild salsa and white rice and peppers/onions with chips and guac on the side. Will be visiting again!
