Fantastic michelada! Servers are not the most hospitable but do their job well. The food is always great and fast. If you’re looking for a quick place to eat with good food and maybe a place to grab a drink. This is the place you want to go.

Our favorite restaurant in Newton. The owners treat us like family. I would recommend any of the steak or shrimp dishes, all of the tacos, and a margarita 🙂 The chicken soup is fresh and so yummy!

Unfortunately this restaurant has gone downhill. The staff seem careless and kind of rude. The restaurant itself just feels dirty and under kept. The food is still pretty good but our latest trip we had a bug in our food. (The two previous times which were spaced apart quite a bit also involved bugs, but in the drinks those times) Truly saddened by this because it was my favorite Mexican restaurant in Newton, can’t say the same now.

Me and my friend went for lunch, and the service was horrible. There was no one else in the restaurant, and we couldn’t get ahold of our server the whole time. We received several rude looks when we asked for things, and even when my baby was crying, they were painstakingly slow to get our check.

Had a bug in my food. Told a worker and he hurriedly smashed it between his fingers and claimed it was spices. I don’t know what spice has legs like that.
Edit: manager/owner responded on my GF’s post about the same issue and he lied once more. Photos dont lie. That is a cockroach. That was in my food who are you kidding. I took the rest of the food and looked through it before throwing it away and that’s why I took the food with me. Since you destroyed the one I had found. Don’t worry I’m calling the health department.

Marginal, but standard, Mexican fare. If you order anything they can’t plop on the plate in the shape of rice, beans, or tacos… You’re rolling the dice.
Staff is cold, inattentive and unconcerned with your dining experience. The wings I ordered looked like they starred in the latest Mad Max movie. Like the steak I ordered, they were overcooked, dry, and chewy.
Two stars because the flavors were good. The spicy wing sauce had great flavor as did the cheese sauce for the steak… But next time I’m looking for Mexican food, I’ll take my dollars to a competing establishment.
