Carini Cafe focuses all of our efforts into the quality of our food and beverages, going the extra mile for the people we serve. All of our handmade pastries, gelato, pizza and food are made from ingredients we source ourselves and made from scratch. We also pride ourselves in keeping the art of coffee cultivation alive. We buy our beans straight from our farmers and roast in small batches to provide a wider range of flavors from all over the world.

We went there because of the brick oven and were really looking forward to the pizza. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet our expectations. The issue wasn’t the dough or the style of the pie, but the overall seasoning. Both pizzas were extremely salty, to the point where it was hard to enjoy them.
We ate a few slices because we were very hungry, but couldn’t finish either pizza, and one ended up being thrown away. It was disappointing, as we had hoped for a much better experience.

We had a pleasant lunch experience there this afternoon. Although we had to wait a little while, it was worth it in the end. The parking lot is massive, which is very convenient. The food was delicious, and there’s something for everyone on the menu. It’s a great place for families since all ages are welcome.

Food was decent but overpriced in my honest opinion. Pizza was made fresh and from scratch. Brick oven, authentic Italian pizza. The pizza is what I’d imagine I’d get if I went to Italy. Wasn’t over the top fancy but it was good and you can tell it was fresh ingredients. Dough is homemade sourdough and thin crust but that’s by design and it was quite tasty. Fried calamari actually didn’t taste premade. Appeared to be breaded and fried at the restaurant and not premade prebought. They claim the Gelato is homemade on site as well. That was good as well. Atmosphere and service was great. Not busy at all on a Friday night. Only 5 of us in the whole restaurant…. Not sure what to make of that honestly. All food pictured cost $50. We got water.

For drinks, we got an iced cappuccino and an iced mocha. For food, we got a Mediterranean shrimp salad and a sausage and green pepper pizza, well done. The salad was excellent, and the NY style pizza was on point. Foldable with a good crunch on the dough.
Everything we ate was excellent, the service was great, and we enjoyed the ambiance.

We have eaten there 4 times and was happy with the waitress the first 2 times. The last 2 times the service was unfortunately, very disappointing. The last 2 times we had the same waitress and someone should be in charge of training servers. Asking what we wanted to drink, taking our appetizer order and bringing our appetizers before our drinks is not alright. Forgetting details about orders so I had to get up and ask for my coffee cream, the Parmesan cheese, water, and to go box. This is disappointing service. Though the food is wonderful, my waitress was very absent minded and I walked away disappointed again. I see they need help and I sincerely hope they hire more capable servers.

We stopped by the cafe on our way to upstate New York. we wanted a coffee break and did not want to go to a chain, but honestly that might have been a mistake. We went close to the closing time, I suppose, and the cafe was practically empty. I wanted to get a latte, but they did not have a latte. The person at the cash register suggested another kind coffee drink, which I forgot what it was called, but it similar to latte. My friend got a cappuccino. While the coffee themselves were quite ordinary, the prices were mind blowing. My friend’s cappuccino was almost $10. I have been to many coffee places over the country, but I am yet to come across a cappuccino that is priced at $10. For a below average cappuccino, it was totally a rip off. Would not recommend. Maybe the food is actually good, but don’t stop here just for coffee.

Food and service are top quality. Naturally leavened pizza crust. Delicious entrees- my eggplant was sliced and cooked perfectly. Gelato and coffee is made in house – delicious.

Had a nice family lunch, we tried 3 different pies. Chicken, bacon and ranch, Sicilian, and traditional.
Our waitress was great.
The expresso with the cold foam was delicious. All the best to this little family business.

Travelling from Upstate NY to family in PA for the first time. I was super hungry and we also wanted fun drinks (taking a break from coffee, so matcha or chai). We also try to go to small businesses whenever possible. Found Carini’s on our route and they had lattes, matcha, pizza, and Italian sandwiches! They had non-dairy milk options too. I got the Freddo Matcha Latte (Iced with Cold Foam I think) & it was soooo good, on the expensive side, but no more expensive than most of the places we go these days. And the sandwiches, oh man. I think the bread we got was fresh out of the oven. The bread was so warm, fluffy, and delicious. Some of the best sandwich bread I’ve had. I got the Chicken Parm Sandwich & my husband got the pesto sausage & peppers one. Both were fresh, hot, & delicious. AND it all came out within 10 min, since we were taking it to-go. Cute inside too with friendly staff & clean bathrooms. This will probably be a go-to stop for us.

Overpriced pizza joint. The pizza was adequate, though definitely not NY style. The fried zucchini was horrible. They undercooked the breading and reduced the zucchini to a runny mush on the inside.
And they have the nerve to charge 9 dollars for a bottle of beer.
Find someplace else to eat.
