I recently visited Pier 49 Pizza and had a delightful experience. The pizza was very good, though it could have used just a bit more sauce. One of the standout features was their option to section the pizza into fourths, allowing everyone in our group to get exactly what they wanted. The atmosphere was fun and well-decorated, which made for a pleasant visit. While the location isn’t the most convenient, it’s well worth the trip. I also thoroughly enjoyed their dessert pizza. Overall, a great spot for pizza lovers!

I did an online order and I was very happy with the service and quality of food. My pizza was delicious! I also got the honey butter cinnamon pizza and it was really hard to eat. Ever heard of the cinnamon challenge? Instead of sprinkling cinnamon on, it was literally dumped on the pizza. I was able to tap some of the cinnamon off, but each bite was still full of cinnamon. Simple fix.

Pier 49 is probably my favorite pizza place in Utah. Their pizza is amazing and the service is great. If you go here I would recommend knob hill and lombard street as well as their cheesy breadsticks. But, really anything you order will be great. The workers are super friendly and the place is always really clean. The restaurant just feels super cozy and I love the California theme, especially the giant mural on the wall. This place is perfect for a date night, and overall its just a great experience.

Great pizza, awful location! The other night I had a pick up order set for 8:45pm. I got there at 8:30pm just to wait around until it was ready and the store was closed, lights off and no one was there. The stores hours show that they close at 9pm. There was no note as to why they closed early, they were just closed before their scheduled time with my order and my money! I called, left messages and tried to get in touch with someone. Still haven’t heard back. It’s been days and I still haven’t had anyone reach out to try and make the situation better or explain what happened. I am very frustrated and this location won’t get my business again.

So glad we came! There is new ownership and they are great, very friendly and customer oriented. The restaurant is clean and a complete vibe. There are so many specialty pizza options, made with sourdough! We did the “dinner for 2” special and definitely had leftovers. The cheese bread was divine! The restaurant is closed on Sundays and is partnered with Doordash, Grubhub, & Slice. Family friendly! 10/10 recommend

Pretty disappointed with the unlimited all you can eat lunch. The price is now up to $14.99. They had 2 pizza pans worth of pizza to choose from. As well, we were asked if we wanted a salad…. the sign says unlimited pizza, salad, and drinks—$14.99. But then when we said yes they told us that would be an extra dollar. That needs to be updated it that was the case. Didn’t feel like the pizza had that much flavor or was special, prices were high for what you got, disappointed in the selection of options, and was sad that they didn’t even have breadsticks for the unlimited lunch. If you’re looking for a buffet style pizza lunch… this is not the right place for that. We had to wait for a worker to come up to the counter and tell them what pizza slice we wanted from the warming cabinet. Just different than what we were expecting. Also something weird is that they have multiple signs saying you get free breadsticks with the biggest pizza size purchase but others said you got breadsticks for $1. The marketing was confusing because they were everywhere but had conflicting information.

The new owners (as of 2024) have really revived the feeling of Pier 49 that I grew up with, they added back the Apple Beer soda, some arcade games, and the pizza is above and beyond — it’s the perfect example of a Pier 49 Pizza. Highly recommend this if you’re looking for a good pizza place with that classic 90’s atmosphere you loved.

Hands down, best restaurant experience I have had in MONTHS.
Friendly from the start, I asked for something they didn’t “traditionally do” which I wasn’t aware of, and they told me they’d do it anyways for me.
Impeccable service off the get go with that.
Then upon delivering my pizza the person who rang me up at the register informed me that they were out of bacon which was on one of the slices I ordered and so they upgraded me to a large to make up for it….. without me even asking.
This is hands down the BEST service I’ve gotten, potentially ever.
They anticipated my needs, the pizza was PHENOMENAL, and overall I’d give this a 10 star review if I could.
Thank you!!

The Nob Hill pizza absolutely SLAPS if you eat it hot. Big fan of their lunch buffet.
Have to say, the exterior isn’t very nice and the service is always reeeeally slow or understaffed, but the taste of the pizza keeps us coming back.
I mean, look at that garlicky, buttery, cheeeeeeese. The food is quality.

I came here 2 years ago while visiting Provo and it was great, so glad I came back. This time it was better than I remembered. I came at lunch time. They offer a buffet but I just got a single slice and I was full to the brim. I love pizza and so far this is my favorite when I visit Utah.
