Definitely order the pizza!
We picked up the cheesy bread and it was really good. The crust had a nice slight char and great texture – savory with a satisfying mouth feel. If the appetizer is this solid, the pizza must be excellent.

My wife ordered the prime rib Benedict, which was an interesting take on a Philly cheesesteak. It was good enough that I found myself wishing I’d tried the prime rib omelette instead.

The Gouda grits were smooth and creamy. My wife initially planned to just have a few bites but ended up finishing the entire bowl.

The waffle was hearty and had a nice dense texture, and the tenders were juicy with a light, crispy coating.

The sweet potato fries come coated in sugar and topped with pecans and syrup – definitely a decadent twist on the classic version. (Though for my diet I skipped the sugar and syrup).

The wings were juicy and well-prepared. Nothing extraordinary, but done right.

No wait on Sunday in December for lunch.
Plenty of parking.

I had a good overall experience at Bistro Palms, but it was a bit of a mixed bag. The food itself was excellent. The buffalo chicken fingers and fries were delicious, cooked well, and full of flavor.

One of the highlights of the night was getting to hear Ariel Casey play acoustic. She was fantastic, and the live music really added to the atmosphere and made the evening more enjoyable.

That said, the service was painfully slow. It took a long time for orders to be taken and delivered, which put a damper on an otherwise nice night. Hopefully that’s something that can be improved, because the food and entertainment deserve better pacing.
My other critique is the draft beer selection. I’d love to see more options beyond the usual American light beers. Seeing the same lineup everywhere feels outdated, and offering a few craft beers on draft, especially local or rotating options, would really elevate the place.

With faster service and a more modern draft selection, this could be a standout spot.

Ordered the roasted turkey panini, on the menu it said it had turkey, bacon and cranberry mayo… came out with honey mustard, turkey and ham. It wasn’t awful but I would have ordered something else if I knew it would come out like that. Also wanted the cranberry walnut salad but I guess on Sundays they only do brunch so it wasn’t on the menu. My husband had chicken and waffles, one was good but one waffle was hard he said. Service was great though!

We couldn’t find many GF options in Marianna. We only found out about the Palms Bistro’s GF pizza because of a reviewer on Find Me GF. It’s not on their menu. We called ahead to verify, and they mentioned that they try to limit cross contamination by wiping that side of the pizza oven before cooking the GF pizza. We had a delicious pizza on GF cauliflower crust and several yummy cocktails. We did not get glutened! The drinks are reasonably priced, too! It was a great pitstop while in town.

The food at Bistro Palms is delicious! Their appetizers and paninis are great, but their pizza is phenomenal. I highly suggest getting a few things to try because although the prices look high at first glance, the food quality is absolutely worth the price. The service could have been better (a lot of waiting.. we had to borrow ketchup from another table, and our to go order we placed toward the end of our meal took a very long time). Basically, our waitress was super busy with other tables since it’s a busy place. However, the food was 100% worth the wait, so just plan for a bit of extra time if you can!

Driving along the Florida panhandle, we stopped in Marianna for the caverns. We found this place and I’m so glad we did. It was the most delicious meal of our trip. The buffalo chicken panini was super tasty and the gouda grits were awesome as was the crab dip. Even the chips were fantastic – how do they do that? I wish we were passing through this town again but our destiny lies elsewhere.

I recently visited the Bistro Palms at 2865 McPherson St, in Marianna, FL. I was spending the night in the area and decided to check this place out. I sat in the bar area and was promptly met at my table by the person behind the bar. I decided on a drink and upon her return, I ordered my sandwich. I believe it was a roast beef panini, either way it was very good. A nice place to get a drink and a meal

UPDATE: I recently ordered the blackened shrimp and grits via Doordash and I’ve now added a NEW FAVORITE to my list! The portions were great and I was looking forward to just trying the shrimp and grits but it also came with delicious cole slaw, French fries and hushpuppies. Those cheese grits were the BEST I’ve ever had and I will definitely be ordering this dish along with my fav, the pizzas, again! Well done! 🙂

OG post: I come here only for the pizza. They do have the absolute BEST pizza in town because they have a brick oven and their dough is my favorite (just the right amount of crunchy and chewy). I always get the Mushroom Madness pizza and it’s always delicious. Sometimes though, the pizzas are smaller in size, and I’m not sure why, so consistency isn’t always there.

Every time I’ve ever been in here, the customer service is usually horrible. I get my order to go now, because of that. On the few occasions that I’ve come to dine in, I’ve waited up to 20 minutes just to have the waitress come get drink orders. And every time the waitress are unhappy, unfriendly and act like they hate being there, or that they are mad. I found it to be bizarre, since this isn’t a ‘one-off’ experience.

I’ve tried other menu options, along with their eggs Benedict for brunch, and didn’t care for any of the other food I’ve tried so far. Their pizza is really the only thing I enjoy from here and I do order it pretty regularly when I am in town.
